Marvel's Luke Cage

The latest Marvel series coming to Netflix, Luke Cage, is set to arrive in just 10 short days on September 30th.

The streaming service has released a new featurette for the show titled “Who is Luke Cage?” The featurette looks at who the title character is and sets the story up for the first season, with cast and crew including star Mike Colter talking about what to expect when you watch.

After a sabotaged experiment leaves him with super strength and unbreakable skin, Luke Cage (Mike Colter) becomes a fugitive who attempts to rebuild his life in modern day Harlem, New York City. But soon he is pulled out of the shadows and must fight a battle for the heart of his city – forcing him to confront a past he had tried to bury.

Also starring in the series is Alfre Woodard as Black Mariah, Simone Missick as Misty Knight, Theo Rossi as Shades, Frank Whaley as Rafael Scarfe, Mahershala Ali as Cottonmouth, and Rosario Dawson reprising her Claire Temple
