In what looks to be part Independence Day, part War of the Worlds, part V, part Superman, part everything you’ve always wanted in a superhero/alien movie, The CW is going for it. Touched upon in the last couple of minutes of Supergirl last night, when Barry Allen and Cisco Ramon (Grant Gustin, Carlos Valdes) popped up in Kara’s (Melissa Benoist) living room through a wormhole asking for help, tonight is when it seems the whole gang will get together. The CW has released “The Dominators” trailer and a behind the scenes look at how everything is going down.
Check out both videos below.
I gotta say… sometimes the monsters on the shows look a bit too CG, but the Dominators look nice and scary. I like that Oliver (Stephen Amell) is the patriarch (if patriarchs were sinfully young and handsome) with his trusted wise advisor Diggle (David Ramsey – also young and handsome), pulling his kid brother Barry out of another scrape. I love Barry Allen. Candice Patton says in the clip that it was a treat for them as it is for the fans, and you can feel that. EP Todd Helbing says, “It’s a dream come true.”
I’m very excited for tonight. Last night’s Supergirl was such a tease, waiting for that crossover moment. Tonight should be the payoff.
The Flash crossover airs tonight at 8:00pm ET on The CW.
The Arrow crossover and episode 100 airs tomorrow night at 8:00pm ET on The CW.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow crossover airs Thursday night at 8:00pm ET on The CW.
