Sony PlayStation Plus

One of the very best decisions that console makers Microsoft and Sony have made, is to offer free games to those who are members of their Xbox Live Gold and PlayStation Plus programs each month. Hundreds of dollars worth of games for free each year. It makes the pill that is having to pay to play (online) much, much easier to swallow.

The free games being offered to PlayStation Plus members for May 2017 have been revealed, and you can see what they are below.

Greetings, PlayStation Nation! The free PS Plus games for May are upon us, and we have something special for everyone. This month we have Tales from the Borderlands and Abzu on PS4.

First up: Tales from the Borderlands, a five-part episodic series from the experts at Telltale Games. Set in the unforgiving world of Pandora after the events of Borderlands 2, follow the journey of Rhys and Fiona as they are thrown together to recover a fortune they both believe is theirs.

From there, put your feet (Flippers?) up and relax with Abzu. Immerse yourself in an ocean full of life and wonder. Feeling stressed? This is the relief you’re looking for.

Full Lineup

  • Tales from the Borderlands, PS4
  • Abzu, PS4
  • Blood Knights, PS3
  • Port Royale 3: Pirates and Merchants, PS3
  • Laser Disco Defenders, PS Vita (Cross Buy with PS4)
  • Type:Rider, PS Vita (Cross Buy on PS4)
  • Enjoy these games, and see you next time!

to be fair tales from the borderlands is a pretty high level game. tell tale isnt exactly indie. same with port royal. but this lineup is pretty lackluster other than tales

      It’s not free.

Not as bad as past months – in fact their best month in a long time, which is a pretty sad of affairs.

I laughed so hard here. No, IT ISN’T FREE. :(
PS Plus was amazing during the time of PS3… now we pay more for way less… too bad, really. :(

But I am looking forward to Tales of Borderlands… though i’m sure i’ll have that platinumed within an 8-10hr period.
