Warning: Ash vs Evil Dead spoilers below…

What on earth could possibly be more gross than Ash’s deadite battle at the morgue in season 2… spoiler alert, Ash squares off with evil in a sperm bank! These are the sorts of wonderfully crazy things you see every week on Ash vs Evil Dead on STARZ.

Last week, Ash (Bruce Campbell) found out two harsh truths: evil is alive and well AND he’s a father. Unfortunately his baby mama is now sans head after a deadite encounter. Ash for his sake tries being a father, but he’s clueless in that department. Poor Brandy (Arielle Carver-O’Neill) is shellshocked staying in Cheryl’s old room in Ashy Slashy’s house. Her only go-to for help is the guidance counselor… Ruby (Lucy Lawless).

Speaking of Ruby, this week’s episode opens with the most Evil Dead birthing scene ever as the inside of Ruby’s car explodes in a showering of blood and the fetus immediately attacks a bystander. The return of evil is taking a toll on poor Pablo (Ray Santiago), whose Necronomicon skin is burning. This sets off alarms in “New Guy” Dalton (Lindsay Farris), who belongs to an age old group called the Knights of Sumeria. His inclusion in the group is a point of contention between Pablo and Kelly (Dana DeLorenzo). The tension is palpable between them. They are Ghost Beaters through and through but a sense of dread and inevitability now looms between them.

And then comes the sperm bank scene, which I will just leave you to watch and enjoy… or revolt at. It’s another glorious edition to the AVED universe and I really love the deadite porn magazine! You’ll never listen to A-ha’s “Take on Me” the same way ever again, I can guarantee you.

Tons of blood, great characters, one liners, gross-out practical effects. Just another week for Ash vs Evil Dead.

Please please please order STARZ and download the STARZ app if you love the show and we will get more seasons. Tune in next Sunday night at 9:00 and remember to hit up #AshvsEvilDead, and #BringBackBoomstick on social media and show some love.
