Haunt Movie

Shudder has an impressive Halloween season line-up this year, with new movies and TV series either recently arriving on the streaming service dedicated exclusively to horror fans, or set to launch sometime in the coming weeks.

Two such movies are Haunt and The Furies. The former is a haunted house horror, while the latter is a terrifying tale of survival…for anyone who might be able to survive, anyway.

If you’ve never seen trailers for these two flicks, you can check them out below along with more info on some of the other titles Shudder is rolling out to make our Halloween season even more entertaining.

Here’s a little bit more info on The Furies and Haunt from the press release:

THE FURIES
(premieres Thursday, 10/3)

Rebellious high school students Kayla and her best friend Maddie find themselves abducted by a sinister presence and stalked, along with six other women, by men in terrifying masks. Starring Airlie Dodds, Linda Ngo and Taylor Ferguson, directed by Tony D’Aquino.

HAUNT
(premieres Thursday, 10/24)

From producer Eli Roth and the writers of A Quiet Place . On Halloween, a group of friends encounter an “extreme” haunted house that promises to feed on their darkest fears. The night turns deadly as they come to the horrifying realization that some nightmares are real. Starring Katie Stevens, Will Brittain and Lauryn Alisa McClain, directed by Scott Beck, Bryan Woods.

This Halloween season line-up on Shudder also includes the highly anticipated Creepshow series, the recent AMC series NOS4A2 based on Joe Hill’s novel of the same name.

Other movies that horror fans can expect to see include Hell House LLC trilogy-maker Lake of Fire, the recently acquired Mexican horror Tigers Are Not Afraid, and Once Cut of the Dead, the critically acclaimed Japanese zombie comedy. This is in addition to the massive amount of titles already available to watch right now, including the original Night of the Living Dead, the original Halloween, and much more.

Shudder is also teasing a special treat coming right around Halloween, which many are hoping will be a Last Drive-In Halloween special thanks to this tweet from host Joe Bob Briggs.

If you don’t already have Shudder you can try it out for free for seven days, and then their plans start at $4.75 a month after that.
