It’s day two of Star Wars Celebration in Orlando, and as you can guess, they saved one of the biggest, most anticipated panels for this day. Of course, everyone who attended the Star Wars: The Last Jedi panel was eager to see the first trailer for the film, and boy does it live up to our expectations. But this wasn’t just a panel for the trailer. There were a couple of things that were said that give us a clue as to what the upcoming sequel will be about and how the events could change Star Wars as we know it. Check it all out below.

Star Wars: Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia

The passing of Carrie Fisher was a profound loss. Sure she was Princess Leia to all of us, but she was also a director, a screenwriter, and an inspiration to those who are going through personal struggles. So it makes it that much more harder to come to grips with as Star Wars Celebration is being held without her.

But to honor her memory, the convention released a very emotional tribute that compiles footage from on the set, interviews, and co-stars talking about what it was like to be with her. You can check out the video below.

On Tuesday morning, Good Morning America will be making some sort of huge Star Wars announcement. The Future Filmmakers panel at Star Wars Celebration in London this weekend not only included an appearance from directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller, who talked about the yet-to-be-titled Han Solo standalone film, but also Rian Johnson, who discussed the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VIII.

The latest Star Wars saga film, which has yet to receive an official title, recently wrapped shooting and will probably have some reshoots done in time for the release next year. But as Johnson gets ready to enter post-production, the director spoke a little bit about what we can expect to see from Episode VIII, including where and when it takes place, the tone, and much more. Check out here below what he and Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy had to say.

The end of Star Wars Celebration is upon us, but if we have learned anything from this event, they generally save the best for last. At the Future Filmmaker panel, directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller were on hand to talk about the upcoming Han Solo film, which was written by the father and son team of Lawrence Kasdan and Jon Kasdan. Of course, since production has yet to begin, Lord and Miller could not spoil too much, but they were more than happy to reveal some interesting tidbits about the standalone film that should keep us happy.

Check out what they had to say here below.

Star Wars Death Star

The final day of Star Wars Celebration today brought was suppose to bring in Star Wars spinoff directors Josh Trank and Gareth Edwards. Unfortunately, Trank fell ill and was unable to make the event. However, Edwards was there to talk about his film, and how it would impact the Star Wars Universe as a whole. During that time, we learned that the new teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens had been viewed an impressive 88 million times in the 24 hours since its debut. During this panel, we also learned about what these films should be considered, what Star Wars: Rogue One really is, and more. So to learn more about this spinoff, and to hear what Edwards, LucasFilm president Kathleen Kennedy, and moderator Pablo Hildago, and a few other creative minds had to say, hit the jump.

Star Wars: Battlefront

We saw a very brief teaser trailer to announce the existence the next Star Wars: Battlefront game released almost two years ago now at E3 2013, followed by a behind the scenes peek at E3 2014. Apart from that things related to the game have been kept locked safely away for the most part.

Last month it was revealed that the game would not be making its debut at E3 2015, but instead it would be making its debut during the Star Wars Celebration convention being held at the Anaheim Convention Center from April 16th to the 19th. And if you’ll take a quick peek at the nearest calendar to you, you will surely see that that time is right now.

That’s right—the debut trailer for Star Wars: Battlefront has been released online, and you can read more about the game and check out the trailer below along with more images to go with the one above.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens Millennium Falcon

It’s opening day of Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, CA, and today’s events started with the J.J. Abrams and Kathleen Kennedy panel, where we learned tidbits about Star Wars: The Force Awakens and were the first to watch the new breathtaking teaser trailer before it came online and see new images.

But even with all of the cheering and fan questioning at the popular panel, it just wouldn’t be a true celebration without having the old guard pass the baton (or should I say lightsaber) to the new guard. After the new cast was introduced — including the new ball droid BB-8), Abrams welcomed in Anthony Daniels (who plays C-3PO), Carrie Fisher (who plays Princess Leia), Peter Mayhew (who plays Chewbacca), and Mark Hamill (who plays Luke Skywalker), as well as the droid R2-D2. After the jump see what they had to say about being a part of the franchise.
