Amazon has announced the full lineup of movies and television shows set to arrive on Prime Video in the new month.

This includes a few highlighted titles coming to the streaming service as well as a little bit about them, followed by the rest of the incoming movies and TV shows and the date they’ll be added to Prime Video.

Trick 'r Treat

It’s Halloween night, which means many of us are watching the perfect Halloween night movie: Trick ‘r Treat.

It’s been six years now, unbelievably, since Legendary Pictures thrilled fans with the announcement that Trick ‘r Treat 2 was on the way. But alas, it would seem that the announcement was more of a cruel trick than the wonderfully sweet treat it appeared to be at the time.

Still, Michael Dougherty—who made his feature directorial debut on the 2007 original, and has since gone on to helm Krampus and Godzilla: King of the Monsters—is asked about the sequel every year around this time, and this year was no different. Disney has released a wave of trailers that will showcase some of the Pixar originals that will appear on their streaming service, Disney+. SparkShorts will take a look at some of the rising directors and new technologies that are being used at the animation studio, while Forky Asks A Question will see the titular character try to understand some of life’s most complicated questions. But Pixar IRL will bring in a different kind of flavor by bringing some of Pixar’s most memorable to public places like a city sidewalk or a park.

Jumanji: The Next Level

Whenever a success like Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle comes along, you can be sure studio execs will greenlight a sequel almost immediately. Now fans can get another chance to jump back into the game with Jumanji: The Next Level, which Sony Pictures has released a new trailer for. The sequel brings the gang (Alex Wolff, Madison Iseman, Ser’Darius Blain, and Morgan Turner) back together again when they are forced to enter the game in order to save one of their own. However, this comes with a few complications as some of them are not the avatars they played as when they played the first time.

Now with these new challenges, and some geriatric help, the gang will go on an all new adventure that will take them to unseen locations, meet all new characters, and face greater dangers. Check out the trailer below.

Main Trailer For Netflix’s ‘The Witcher’ Series Reveals Release Date

The Witcher Series

A main trailer for Netflix’s adaptation of author Andrzej Sapkowski‘s book series The Witcher has been released online. In addition to that, the trailer also brings with it the long awaited release date for the first season of the show.

The series stars Henry Cavill as a witcher known as the White Wolf, Geralt of Rivia. Freya Allan, Anya Chalotra, Jodhi May, Björn Hlynur Haraldsson, Adam Levy, MyAnna Buring, Mimi Ndiweni, Therica Wilson-Read, and Millie Brady also star.

‘SparkShorts’ Trailer: Showcasing Pixar’s New Short Films and Rising Directors On Disney+

Pixar has made a name for itself by accompanying their animated features with animated shorts. Recently, the studio has become more diversified with more people of color directing shorts like Sanjay’s Super Team and Bao. Now Disney has found a new home for artists to share some of their animated shorts without anyone having to go to a theater.

Pixar has released a trailer for an all-new Disney+ original called SparkShorts. It is a collection of animated shorts from Pixar Animation Studios “designed to discover new storytellers and explore new storytelling techniques from across the studio.” Check out the trailer below.

This week we learned that Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss had exited their planned Star Wars trilogy. It’s almost become customary for various news outlets to do a deep dive into why there was such a falling out. Though many had their theories, new reports are coming out revealing exactly what happened between the two parties.

And while many were quick to cite Benioff and Weiss’ deal with Netflix as being the key issue, there seems to be more underneath it all, including some creative friction. More on the report below.

WarnerMedia held a major press event yesterday to talk about their new streaming service HBO Max. We know that WB has made some major acquisitions in the past few months by buying the rights to shows like Friends and The Big Bang Theory for billions of dollars.

But that was merely the beginning for the media giant. Now we know much more that will come with the service, including popular DC film titles, South Park, Rick and Morty, and original titles as well. Check out what was revealed today.
