Created by Elgin James, Kurt Sutter

Last week on Mayans MC, we were reintroduced into Kurt Sutter’s world of biker gangs, this time on the Latin side. The Mayans MC were featured in the Sons of Anarchy pilot, and in return, the Sons (with a new leader) had a cameo in this pilot. Young Ezekial (EZ) Reyes (JD Pardo) is a prospect with a brother in the club, a butcher father (not of humans) who is sucked in somehow, a son and an ex who are now the family of a cartel leader, and a detective to whom he slips info to. This kid is in all kinds of trouble. And not because he’s in an MC, where everyone shoots up rivals or that they sell drugs through a dress shop front. Excited yet?

Warning! Spoilers for episode 2 below.

This means finding the Monk who knows where the body is hidden. David is spending an awful lot of time inside Cary’s immersion tank bouncing back and forth through time and the Astral Plane. On this week’s Legion, the Monk finds himself inside Division 3 and poses a threat to everyone involved.

“My Boomstick; it’s got me out of a lot of scrapes but be careful… It’s got a hair trigger, kick like a mule.”

Warning: spoilers below…

This was a bad week for fans of Ash vs Evil Dead as STARZ announced that it would not be renewing the show for a fourth season. While the series hit a creative peak this season, the ratings simply were not there. And so this weekend saw the penultimate episode for my favorite show on television. And god dammit they are going down swinging. Last week saw Ash die in order to enter the Rift and rescue Brandy and Kelly. He was half successful as Brandy returned with him thanks to Pablo’s Brujo Especial powers. Kelly is trapped though thanks to Kaya still controlling her body. Let’s hold back the tears for one more week and brace ourselves as tonight, The Dark Ones arrived…

Warning: spoilers below…

The last two weeks on Ash vs Evil Dead have been rough on Ash and the Ghost Beaters. First, a vengeance-seeking Kelly (Dana DeLorenzo) was killed by Ruby (Lucy Lawless) after a knockout drag-out fight. Then Ash had to watch as Ruby threw the Candarian dagger straight into her daughter Brandy’s back killing her as well. Ash is distraught as any father would be. Pablo (Ray Santiago) is also in tears, as this week’s episode begins due to Kelly being trapped in the Rift. Since Pablo used his Brujo Especial powers to open the Rift in the hardware store basement once before, they come up with a crazy plan to get their loved ones back…

Warning – SPOILERS for AMC’s The Walking Dead…

Here we are, at the season 8 finale of The Walking Dead. After a frustrating first half of the season filled with an overabundance of gunfire and a story that dragged on, the second part returned this past February with a more compelling tale, one led by Carl’s vision of the future. But will Rick and Negan compromise to allow this peaceful future to become a reality? All indications so far have been, no, they won’t, especially since Negan told Michonne that “winning is about killing every last one of you.”

On last week’s episode, 8.15 “Worth,” Negan faced his betrayers. Simon, who was plotting a coup, died by Negan’s bare hands, while Laura’s return led to the reveal that Dwight was the mole who was feeding Rick information. Negan’s plan for Dwight had yet to be revealed, but we know he set him up to deliver Rick fake battle plans that would lead his enemy right into a trap. The episode also saw Rosita and Daryl’s failed attempt to capture Eugene, who is head of Negan’s bullet-making operation.

In this week’s episode, 8.16 “Wrath,” the allies ready for battle against Negan and the Saviors, while Negan prepares his army for a mission to wipe out their enemies once and for all.

“Well for starters there’s a very handsome, but demented version of me running around here so if you see I give you permission to break his face.”

Warning: spoilers ahead…

If you were waiting for Season 3 of Ash vs Evil Dead on STARZ to get REALLY bloody… first off, what’s wrong with you?!?! But secondly, holy crap this is the episode for you! Last week we got the crazy Kelly vs. Ruby brawl that led to Kelly (Dana DeLorenzo) being killed in a moment that shook the AvED universe. Ruby (Lucy Lawless) used her body as a vessel to bring Kaya back from the Rift, a place on the other side where Kelly now resides. Meanwhile, Ash (Bruce Campbell) and Pablo (Ray Santiago) accidentally opened the Rift in the hardware store basement leading to a bloody confrontation with demonized Knights of Sumeria. This week, Ruby puts her plan in motion to stop Ash once and for all.

Warning – SPOILERS for AMC’s The Walking Dead…

On last week’s The Walking Dead episode, 8.14 “Still Gotta Mean Something,” Negan and Jadis came to an understanding; Negan made his way back to the Sanctuary, but with a secret passenger along for the ride; Daryl and Rosita were going after Eugene at the Savior ammunitions factory; Carol found young Henry, while Morgan lost his mind again; and, sadly, we see that after his encounter with the former Savior captives, Rick is no longer a man of his word.

In this week’s episode, 8.15 “Worth,” Rick finally reads the letter from Carl, which talks about his vision for a peaceful future in this post-apocalyptic world; Rosita and Daryl make a move on the ammunitions factory; and Negan reconnects with his former lieutenants, especially Dwight and Simon, who are still plotting to take over the Sanctuary.

“Do you have any waffles?”

Spoilers below for Legion:

Legion burst back onto TV screens on Tuesday night with the same absurd surrealist approach that made it a fan favorite back in 2017. There is simply nothing off-limits on this show and it runs from the top down. Show creator Noah Hawley has reinvented genre TV with both this and Fargo (also on FX) and his team of actors, cinematographers, special effects people and musicians all work to create the single most unique 70+ minute experience for viewers each week. In the debut for its second season, Legion was laugh out loud funny, wonderfully irreverent, featured voiceover narration from an Emmy-nominated guest star, and of course, because it’s Legion, culminated with an epic dance sequence.
