Sometimes you see something on the ‘net and you just have to click it immediately. It might be the hot new trailer for something; or maybe an article you know is important to read; or, yes, even the latest hilariously adorable freakin’ cat video you stumble upon.

This is one of those videos. Basically it’s Ant-Man star Paul Rudd challenging renowned theoretical physicist, cosmologist, and all around genius Dr. Stephen Hawking to a game of quantum chess with the winner getting to make the keynote address at Caltech. And even more awesome, the video features Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure co-stars Keanu Reeves, who narrates, and Alex Winter, who directed the short.

Every once in a great while we hear about Bill & Ted 3, the long-awaited follow-up to 1989’s Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and 1991’s Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey, such as back in 2010 and more recently in 2013.

Speaking to Yahoo! Movies about his latest movie, Grand Piano (available now via on demand services), Alex Winter offered up some good quotes on where things stand with Bill & Ted 3 and why it’s taking so long to get the trilogy-maker done. Winter plays Bill S. Preston, Esq. in the movies alongside Keanu Reeves, who plays Ted “Theodore” Logan.

Over the past few years, Elijah Wood has been spreading his wings and diving deep into the well that is genre cinema, having co-founded the production and distribution label SpectreVision and starring in several recent and upcoming horror films. His latest starring movie is Grand Piano, which was directed by SpectreVision partner Eugenio Mira, and comes courtesy of Magnet Releasing.

Keanu Reeves is current out doing a press tour to discuss his upcoming film 47 Ronin, but in an interview Monday morning with Today the conversation turned to the role that brought his name to prominence, Ted “Theodore” Logan, and what might be next for Ted and his best friend, Bill S. Preston, Esq. (Alex Winter) in the long-rumored Bill & Ted 3.

Reeves talked candidly about the role and the characters, and provided some very promising news for those hoping for a third Bill & Ted time-traveling adventure with.

Usually when I sit down to get you to take a peek at a Kickstarter campaign, it’s a comic or book-related fundraiser. This one is a bit different, on many levels. If you for some reason you don’t recognize Alex’s name, well maybe you should go pick up the always awesome comedy Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure. I, however, know him best from the cult classic The Lost Boys (my friend Becca and I must have watched that every weekend for at least three years). But he’s more than just an actor, this dude has some pretty great director’s chops, too. He’s the man behind the film Freaked! I have no doubt this film will dig into every crevice to get to the truth. I recently read that the internet that you and I know makes up a mere 4% of the content that’s actually out there. Apparently there is a lot of stuff that isn’t indexed because it’s not meant to be seen by the average computer user.
