Last week on Arrow, the team disappeared one by one, courtesy of madman Adrian Chase and Black Siren (Josh Segarra, Katie Cassidy). Oliver (Stephen Amell) surmised that Talia al Ghul (Lexa Doig) was in on it too, after they found one of her arrows. They were taken to Lian Yu. Merlyn (John Barrowman) joined Oliver to save Thea (Willa Holland). Loyal Nyssa (Katrina Law) joined despite hating Merlyn. Oliver freed Chase after he showed him that he kidnapped his son, William (Jack Moore). Warning! Spoilers below for the season 3 finale of The Flash!
Last week’s Flash was full of tears, as Barry (Grant Gustin), desperate to save Iris (Candice Patton) as the clock wound down, went back in time to get Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) to help him steal an energy source from A.R.G.U.S. This energy was needed to fuel the “speedforce bazooka” that Tracy Brand (Anne Dudek) built, inspired by her muse and crush HR (Tom Cavanagh). After a harrowing reenactment of Jaws, they retrieved it and Barry and Snart said goodbye in a bittersweet moment for Captain Cold fans. The team went to Infantino Street to stop Savitar from killing Iris, but it didn’t work. Savitar ran Iris through and Barry held her body in his arms. Vibe (Carlos Valdes) and Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) faced off.

Last week on The Flash, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) came up with a flawed (but from the heart) plan to prevent Barry (Grant Gustin) from making new memories, so that Savitar-the-Barry-remnant wouldn’t know what it was. It was too successful. Barry and Savitar got complete amnesia. Both myself and Iris (Candice Patton) were happy to see this lighthearted Barry without all the darkness and pain, falling in love with her all over again. Unfortunately, Barry was also crucial to a court case, resulting in a firebug walking. Said firebug attacked, but Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) had no powers because Savitar never awakened them, and Barry couldn’t control his. Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) showed up to help Cisco and Julian (Tom Felton) fix the mess. They got to the Caitlin underneath. HR and Tracy (Tom Cavanagh, Anne Dudek) started falling in love. She finished the “speed force bazooka” but it needs a lot of energy… energy that is guarded by King Shark.
