Watch: First ‘Star Wars Forces Of Destiny’ Animated Shorts

Back in April we found out about Star Wars Forces for Destiny, a collection of animated shorts.
The shorts were to feature various well-known characters from the franchise, with actors like Daisy Ridley (Rey), Felicity Jones (Jyn Erso), Tiya Sircar (Sabine Wren), Ashley Eckstein (Ahsoka Tano), and Lupita Nyong’o (Maz Kanata) reprising their respective roles.
Now the first few shorts, titled “Sands of Jakku,” “BB-8 Bandits,” and “Ewok Escape,” have been released online. Continue below to check them out.

First Look At ‘Star Wars Forces Of Destiny’ Featuring Daisy Ridley, Felicity Jones, More (Video)

Disney and Lucasfilm have announced Star Wars Forces of Destiny, a series of animated shorts following some of the iconic characters of the franchise.
The actors who have portrayed some of the characters will be lending their voices to the new shorts as well, including Daisy Ridley (Rey), Felicity Jones (Jyn Erso), Tiya Sircar (Sabine Wren), and Ashley Eckstein (Ahsoka Tano), with Lupita Nyong’o (Maz Kanata) narrating the series.

NYCC 2015: ‘Star Wars Rebels’ Panel With Sarah Michelle Gellar

At the 2015 New York Comic-Con on Thursday, Star Wars fans had all their fanboy/fangirl dreams come true, when the Star Wars Rebels Season 2 trailer debuted at the panel, which saw appearances by executive producer Dave Filoni, along with the voice cast: Sarah Michelle Gellar as Seventh Sister, Taylor Gray as Ezra, and Ashley Eckstein as Ahsoka Tano, her character from The Clone Wars.
