Shaun of the Dead

Ever wanted to see a sequel to Shaun of the Dead? I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you probably never will. Still, it is something that has at least tempted the minds of those who made the movie.

The cast and crew behind the movie, including director Edgar Wright and stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, recently chatted about the movie, how it came to be, actors who were circling roles (including Oscar winners Kate Winslet and Helen Mirren), the vampire sequel they joked about, and more. You can see what they had to say below.

Jack The Giant Slayer Title Card Header

When the first Jack The Giant Slayer trailer came out a few months back it was met with overwhelmingly negative reviews, which prompted Warner Bros. to push back the film’s release from June 2012 all the way to March 2013. Now the studio has released a new trailer in hopes that you will be swayed to watch this giant fairy tale adaptation.

Check out the latest trailer for Bryan Singer’s Jack The Giant Trailer here below.

The film stars Nicholas Hoult (X-Men: First Class) as Jack, a humble farmer who must rescue a princess (Eleanor Tomlinson) and save the kingdom from a hoard of giants. Ewan McGregor, Stanley Tucci, Bill Nighy, Ian McShane and Warwick Davis also star.

Netflix Review: RangoRango
Netflix Streaming
DVD | DVD
Directed by Gore Verbinski
Starring Johnny Depp, Isla Fisher, Alfred Molina, Bill Nighy, Ray Winstone, Timothy Olyphant, Ned Beatty
Paramount Pictures
Originally Released: March 4, 2011

While branded as an animated family movie, Rango is truly a thrilling Western and hysterical comedy all built into one. The animation is remarkable in its coupling with some memorable voice acting, supported by a solid script and iconic scenes. Rango is a film that must not be missed.

The movie tells the story of our title character, who begins as a household family pet with gigantic dreams of becoming the most revered and versatile actor of all time. A chance accident finds him lost and alone on a desert highway, from where he finds his way to the City Of Dirt. The plot then morphs into a Western motif at this point, where Rango discovers he may be able to play the role of a lifetime in this new city.

Watch The ‘Total Recall’ Trailer With Commentary By Director Len Wiseman

Colin Farrell Total Recall

The trailer for the new adaptation of Total Recall (I hesitate to use the term “remake” since this movie, much like Paul Verhoeven’s 1990 movie, is based on Philip K. Dick‘s 1966 short story “We Can Remember It For You Wholesale”) was unveiled a week ago to little fanfare and the expected gnashing teeth of devoted fans of the Verhoeven movie and haters of remakes and reboots in general looking to justify the kind of boiled-over rage directed at this movie that you wouldn’t often find outside of Tea Party gatherings and Bill O’Reilly’s dressing room. To help alleviate rising concerns about the film’s fidelity – or lack thereof – to its source and the fact that it looks like just about every futuristic actioner out there (OOH! FLYING CARS!) the trailer for Total Recall is being presented complete with a few audio comments from the movie’s director Len Wiseman.

You can watch the trailer with Wiseman’s commentary here below.

Total Recall

Not much has been heard or seen about the remake of Total Recall directed by Len Wiseman (Underworld) with Colin Farrell in the role Arnold Schwarzenegger played in the 1990 Paul Verhoeven-directed sci-fi action smash since it went into production last year, outside of a few promotional and behind-the-scenes photos and a presentation at the 2011 San Diego Comic-Con. With the movie scheduled for release later this summer, the lack of even a teaser trailer or poster is troubling for the latest cinematic adaptation of Philip K. Dick‘s short story “We Can Remember It For You Wholesale.”

Today, we have an international promo video featuring snippets of footage from the new Total Recall. You can watch it here below.

Underworld

With the recent release of the fourth installment, Awakening, the Underworld movies have proved to be one of those franchises that refuses to die as long as the last movie makes enough money to barely justify a sequel — the same criteria that has also kept the Resident Evil movies going long past their expiration date.

The clever people over at io9 have assembled the better parts of the first three films in the series – Underworld (2003), Underworld: Evolution (2006), and the prequel Underworld: Rise of the Lycans – into a three minute video.

‘Clash Of The Titans 2’ Trailer Unleashes Its Wrath

Wrath of the Titans

The first trailer for the follow-up to 2010’s Clash of the Titans remake, titled Wrath of the Titans, has made its way online.

The sequel is surprising for multiple reasons, most notable of which is the fact that the original did not perform as well as was hoped both critically and financially (making only a small amount more than its budget domestically—though it did do much better overseas—and being generally panned by critics), followed by the fact that almost the entire cast came back to reprise their roles.

But how does Wrath of the Titans (with new director Jonathan Liebesman) look? Could it be one of the rare cases where a sequel does better things than its predecessor?

Click on over to the other side now to check out the trailer and share your thoughts below!
