‘Blade Runner 2049’ Trailer: There’s More To This Futuristic Mystery
Warner Bros. has just unveiled the newest trailer for Denis Villeneuve‘s Blade Runner 2049, and it asks more questions than it answers. The timing of all of this seems a bit odd considering that WB has a panel at this weekend’s SDCC, but who am I to complain about a brand new trailer for one of the most anticipated films of the year. Plus that just leaves more time for some other WB films that we are interested in.
But that is beside the point. Here we see a few more details about Officer K’s (Ryan Gosling) case and why he must go out of his way to look into the past to find an aged Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford). More on the trailer below.

Official Trailer For ‘Blade Runner 2049’ Released
At the end of last year we saw the first trailer for the highly anticipated sequel to Ridley Scott‘s sci-fi favorite Blade Runner, titled Blade Runner 2049. The first trailer was an announcement trailer, sharing some great shots from the movie with minimal dialogue.
Now Warner Bros. Pictures has released an official trailer for the movie, which is longer, includes a little more dialogue, and most importantly, lots and lots more great shots courtesy of director Denis Villeneuve, the great Roger Deakins‘ cinematography, and the rest of the crew who worked on the movie.

‘Blade Runner 2’ Confirmed Title Is ‘Blade Runner 2049’
One year from now, Warner Bros. and Alcon Entertainment will be releasing a sequel to Blade Runner to theaters, but we still know next to nothing about the film itself. But perhaps it would be best if we referred to Blade Runner 2 now by its actual newly revealed title — Blade Runner 2049. Check out the first image here below of director Denis Villeneuve, producer Ridley Scott, and film stars Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling together in one room.

Jared Leto Joins The Cast Of ‘Blade Runner’ Sequel
Fresh off having his role as the Joker in the current late summer superhero smash Suicide Squad reduced to a brief cameo, Oscar-winning actor Jared Leto has signed on to co-star in the untitled sequel to the 1982 sci-fi masterpiece Blade Runner.
Cameras are set to roll next month on the film that has been in development for years, with a release scheduled for later next year. Denis Villeneuve, the acclaimed filmmaker responsible for Prisoners, Sicario, and the upcoming Arrival, is directing the sequel from a screenplay penned by original Blade Runner scribe Hampton Fancher and former Heroes/Smallville producer Michael Green. Fancher based the original on the late Philip K. Dick‘s novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep.

First Look: Concept Art For ‘Blade Runner’ Sequel Starring Harrison Ford
A sequel to the Ridley Scott 1982 scifi classic Blade Runner has been in development for years now, but the highly anticipated film is looking like it’s really coming together now that Harrison Ford has agreed to reprise his role as Rick Deckard and Ryan Gosling has signed on to headline the project.
