James Gunn director of Guardians of the Galaxy

It has been nearly a month since Disney has fired director James Gunn from Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 over decade-old offensive tweets, and yet, it looks like no progress has been made to hire someone to replace him. That’s because the firing may not be as cut and dry as first thought. While this may not give us any reason to believe that the studio will rehire Gunn, other competing studios are reportedly making enticing offers to the former Marvel director. Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 Team

Individual members of the cast of Guardians Of The Galaxy have already shared words of support for director James Gunn, who was fired by Disney after ultra conservatives unearthed the filmmaker’s decade-old distasteful joke tweets about pedophilia. The more than obvious lapse of time in between those tweets and the posts he makes now shows that he is a changed man. Plus, the number of apologizes he had made, both years ago and now, are proof enough that he realized that those jokes were poor taste.

Now that we’ve heard from various members of the cast, they have come together as a family to released a signed letter of support for Gunn asking that Disney reinstate him as director on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. More on the story here below.

Avengers: Infinity War Black Order

We all know that the cast of Avengers: Infinity War is big. But it still manages to find a way to increase its numbers. While we knew that there would be at least 22 heroes in the film, we didn’t know about who would be playing Thanos’ Black Order. Directors Anthony and Joe Russo had kept the identities of the actors a secret for some time. But now that is over. In a new interview, the Russos confirm Carrie Coon (Fargo Season 3, The Leftovers), Terry Notary (Planet of the Apes, The Hobbit trilogy), and Tom Vaughan-Lawlor have joined the cast as Thanos’ Black Order. Find out who they will play in the full story here below.

Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War

It’s hard to believe that Marvel Studios has gotten to the point where they’ve released 18 films. Within that stretch, there were more than a handful of ensembles, and the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War is a culmination of everything the studio has worked so hard to achieve. As many of us know, all good things must come to an end. Sadly, the film will mark the end for many of the actors since a lot of their contracts are done. But that won’t stop them from enjoying their final moments.

Marvel Studios has released a few new videos that celebrate everything that they have accomplished so far with the help of their fans and another that focuses on the familial bonds that were forged throughout the ten years. Check it all out below.

Thanos wiping out half of humanity to save it sounds logical, but he’ll have a difficult time making it happen when the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy unite to prevent it from happening.

In the past few weeks leading up to the release of Avengers: Infinity War, the marketing team has been releasing a variety of trailers, posters, and TV spots. If there is one thing they all share in common, it’s that there is no Hawkeye. Joking aside, these posters had our heroes together in groups. Avengers: Infinity War

We all love going to the movies. Heck, I’m having a fun time writing about them. So it’s sad to hear that some people may not have the same opportunity to watch them as much as I do. But hearing about how teachers and other inspirational people gather together to help kids watch Black Panther brought a tear to my eye.

So it gives me joy to see how that has inspired another movement, one that will help kids who cannot control their circumstances go to a theater to watch Avengers: Infinity War. More on how you can help, and the newest TV spot, below.
