Resident Evil: Retribution

Less than one year ago we were seeing trailers for the latest and supposed final Resident Evil movie. The sixth in the franchise, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter hit theaters just a handful of months ago. The franchise did not stay retired long.

Constantin Film is reportedly developing a reboot of the franchise. Who will star in the reboot, writer and director, and whether it will follow the same characters and stories has not yet been revealed.

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard

A trailer was premiered during E3 2016 for the next game in the Resident Evil franchise, titled Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.

This is a legendary third-person survival horror series, so you can imagine some mega-fans’ shock to discover that this latest entry is actually a first-person game. One reason for this could be because developer and publisher Capcom wanted to capitalize on the hunger for first-person horror after seeing the public’s response and subsequent devastation over the announcement and eventual cancellation of Konami’s P.T. demo, AKA Silent Hills from Hideo Kojima. Another definite reason is because of the rise of virtual reality. Resident Evil 7 will have an included mode that allows you to play the game using PlayStation VR.

You can watch the first trailer below.

Street Fighter Assassin's Fist Web Series Machinima

In 2010, the internet was treated to Street Fighter: Legacy, a fan-film created by and starring Joey Ansah and Christian Howard that depicted a sparring match between the characters Ryu and Ken. The video has since received over 5 million views on YouTube. Due to the success and quality of the film itself, Capcom — the developer of the Street Fighter video game series — sanctioned an official web series from the same creative team called, Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist.

Check out three teaser trailer for the series here below.

Dead Rising 3 Image

Dead Rising 3 is officially on the way, and the first gameplay demo for the game was shown off at E3 2013 this week.

Whether you’re a fan of the franchise or not, one thing remains increasingly undeniable: boy, they sure get a lot of zombies on your screen. Known for their hordes of undead as well as the wide variety of weapons available to you for dispatching them, Capcom’s game series always gives you your money’s worth if all you’re seeking is to bash the remaining life out of the walking dead, and that clearly has not changed at all here.

Click on over to the other side now to check out the first gameplay from Dead Rising 3 now.

Yet another video from Sony’s PS4 announcement, this one coming from Capcom.

The game is being called Deep Down (a working title), and is built using the new engine currently code named Panta Rhei.

As you’ll see, the game starts off looking like an amazing new fantasy game…but at the end, there’s a bit of a LOST-style twist that will leave you wondering just what kind of game this is.

Be sure to head below and check out the video, then share your thoughts!

Resident Evil 6

Anytime a new Resident Evil game is on the table, games will be watching with intent eyes. Knowing this, Capcom was sure to bring lots and lots of good stuff from the latest title in the zombie mega-franchise, titled Resident Evil 6, to show to the masses.

First comes a nice new trailer that shows off both cinematic story and gameplay, and that’s followed by a mountain of gameplay demo footage. Most of the demos we’ve seen run 10-15 minutes, but for RE6, you get so much more. Just here you’ll find THREE gameplay demos—one for Leon, one for Chris, and one for Jake—that run over 15 minutes each (with a little talking at the start to set things up).

You can watch the new Resident Evil 6 trailer and the three gameplay demos below!

Street Fighter IV
Street Fighter IV
Genre: Fighting
Rating: 12 (VSC Rating)
Publisher: Capcom
Format: Xbox 360, PS3 (Coming soon to PC), Arcade

Chances are, you’ve already heard about Capcom’s legendary Street Fighter series – Street Fighter 2 was/is the benchmark for almost every 1v1 fighting game that exists today. If you haven’t, then you’re either not a gamer, or haven’t set foot in an arcade in the last 15+ years.

SF2 is quite possibly one of my favourite games of all time – it is (in my opinion) one of the most polished and flawless fighting games to date, even if it’s 2D. The game’s combo system and tactical gameplay makes it fun for beginners to pick up, and great for hardcore players to arrange tournaments around (which in turn makes for some amazing viewing).

Capcom haven’t been able to match the original Street Fighter 2’s quality for a long time (the closest they came for me was Street Fighter Alpha 2), and in the development of their latest release; Street Fighter IV, you can tell they’ve gone back to the roots of the series. Capcom did attempt delving into the world of a 3D Street Fighter before, with the Street Fighter Ex series – these, although good in their own right, were overshadowed by games like Tekken and Dead or Alive.
