Now, Netflix is giving us our first look at those titles for Season 3, a lot of which has to do with what we have seen and heard in the past, which includes more references to the ’80s. Check out the titles and the trailer here below.

First Look: Michael Shannon & Kevin Spacey As ‘Elvis & Nixon’

The iconic photo of President Richard Nixon shaking hands with Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Elvis Presley is often described as strange and bizarre. But if it wasn’t for that historic meeting, Liza Johnson’s new comedy, Elvis & Nixon, starring Michael Shannon and Kevin Spacey, as the respective icons, would not be happening.
Johnson’s new film documents the two real-life figures meeting for the first time at the White House’s Oval Office, but there is more to this event than a photo-op. The story behind this meeting is that Elvis really wanted a badge from the Federal Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs, and would go as far as offering his services to the President to be an agent to get one.
Now we have our first look from the film, hit the jump to check it out.

Book Review: As You Wish: Inconceivable Tales From The Making Of The Princess Bride

As You Wish: Inconceivable Tales From the Making of the Princess Bride
Hardcover | Kindle Edition | Audiobook
Written by Cary Elwes with Joe Layden
Forward by Rob Reiner
Simon & Schuster/Touchstone Books
Release Date: October 14, 2014
This is a fan book — a book from a fan to the fans. Actor Cary Elwes is the ultimate Princess Bride fan. His book, As You Wish: Inconceivable Tales From the Making of the Princess Bride, written with some help from Joe Layden, and including a forward from director Rob Reiner, tells the tale of this fairytale, as a fairytale. This is not a negative criticism. It comes from a magical place. Elwes, who starred in the film, gushes about that experience from the first page to the last, and the rest of the cast, Reiner, Andy Scheinmen, Norman Lear, and William Goldsmith, author of the book and screenplay, contribute many first-person accounts of their experiences, echoing Cary’s sentiments. The Princess Bride was the first major acting job of Elwes’s career, and the one that he will be remembered for, for the rest of his life and beyond.

Eric Bana To Star In Cary Elwes’ ‘Elvis And Nixon’

Talk about a way to make your debut behind the camera.
With his directorial debut, Elvis & Nixon, moving forward, the cast is being set for Cary Elwes‘ film, and according to THR, it’s gotten quite interesting. Danny Huston is in talks to play the president who’s last name plays the latter part of that title, and for the former, who better than Eric Bana? Bana has signed on to play Elvis Presley in the film, which will focus on the icon’s visit to the White House on December 21, 1970.

Must Watch: ‘The Princess Bride’ Cast Reunites On ‘Good Morning America’
|

Just recently Entertainment Weekly gathered up the casts of some popular movies for their 2011 Cast Reunions issue, which included the cast of director Rob Reiner‘s 1987 timeless fantasy classic, The Princess Bride.
And being that it happens to be my own personal favorite movie of all time, I eat this stuff up. So when I saw that Good Morning America also jumped on the cast reunion for their Totally Awesome ’80s Week, giddiness levels elevated. Stars Cary Elwes (Westley/The Man in Black), Robin Wright (Princess Buttercup), Chris Sarandon (Prince Humperdinck), Wallace Shawn (Vizzini), Billy Crystal (Miracle Max), and Carol Kane (Valerie) were present to discuss the movie and tell stories from behind the scenes, including a very funny one involving the late Andre the Giant, who played Fezzik.
You can see a video of the cast of The Princess Bride reunited on the set of Good Morning America by heading below now.

Geek Peek: First Look At Steven Spielberg & Peter Jackson’s ‘Adventures Of Tintin’
|
 |

The first images from Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson‘s planned trilogy adaptation of The Adventures of Tintin have been released online.
The performance-capture films will begin with the Spielberg-directed The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn, which is set for release on December 28, 2011. The opening film is a combination of three stories — The Crab with the Golden Claws, The Secret of the Unicorn, and Red Rackham’s Treasure — follows Tintin (Jamie Bell), a young reporter who meets a man known as Captain Haddock (Andy Serkis), and the two discover a clue that might lead to a treasure belonging to Haddock’s great ancestor.
Now comes our first peek at what the movie will look like by way of Empire Magazine. It’s nothing too surprising here — the movies look like the classic Tintin with a nice performance-capture/CGI makeover, and that was exactly the idea.
Be sure to click over right now to see the two first images, and you can also click the image up top for Empire’s magazine cover.

Lionsgate Releases First Full Trailer For ‘Saw 3D’

Back in July the first teaser trailer for Saw VII, now known as Saw 3D, was released, but didn’t show a whole lot. Now fans of the franchise have their first real look with the arrival of the first full trailer.
At the time, the movie was said to be called Saw 3D: The Traps Come Alive, but thankfully it looks like the sub-title was demoted to a tagline. It was also revealed back in April that Carey Elwes would finally be returning to the world of the Jigsaw killer after his mysterious exit from the original film, and you do get a little glimpse of him in this new trailer.
Click on over to check out the trailer yourself, and judge as you see fit in the comments below!
