Star Wars The Last Jedi image 07

Finn (John Boyega) is the reluctant hero of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. While he may know right from wrong, he doesn’t exactly want to be in the heat of battle. But when the time calls for it, he will fight until the bitter end. So even though he had a chance to escape to the Outer Rim, he chose to join The Resistance on their mission to bring down the Starkiller Base and rescue Rey (Daisy Ridley) from Kylo Ren (Adam Driver).

And even though he showed his grit and valor against Kylo Ren, he was soundly defeated. However, Rey was still able to rescue him, and had to leave the comatose hero to go find Luke. So while Finn was bound to wake up from his coma, it appears that there are still a few scars.

Some new Star Wars: The Last Jedi photos have been released, and we are learning a lot more about Finn’s trauma and how he cannot escape fighting for The Resistance. Check it out here below.

A bunch of new photos are included in Entertainment Weekly’s Fall Movie preview issue and with it some new plot details on the film. Because we all know how important it is to keep the future of Star Wars vague. Check out the new photos plus how our favorite characters have changed since The Force Awakens, below.

But Star Wars: The Last Jedi will give us a first look at the real Snoke, and Praetorian Guard, the royal guard who are assigned to protect him.
