New Trailer For ‘Pet Sematary’ Released By Paramount

Nothing like kicking off your day with a hot cup of coffee and a horrific new trailer for Pet Sematary. The movie is the latest adaptation of the terrifying Stephen King tale, which was previously adapted into a movie back in 1989.
The movie is directed by Kevin Kolsch and Dennis Widmyer (Starry Eyes), and stars Jason Clarke, Amy Seimetz, John Lithgow, Jeté Laurence, and Hugo Lavoie. Jeff Buhler (The Prodigy, Nightflyers) and David Kajganich (Suspiria, The Terror) wrote the screenplay.

New ‘Pet Sematary’ TV Spot Teases Return Of Zelda

Paramount has released a new TV spot for Pet Sematary, the latest adaptation of Stephen King‘s novel of the same name.
The TV spot is extremely short at only 15 seconds, but it teases a character who will no doubt be of interest to fans of King’s book and the 1989 movie adaptation which stole sleep from so many: Zelda. The name alone causes me to start sweating nervously. I’ve never even played any of the video games because of it. OK so that’s all a bit of exaggeration, but that ’89 movie helped along greatly by Zelda did something very few movies have ever been able to do: terrify the ever-loving shit out of me.

‘Pet Sematary’: Watch The First Trailer For Latest Stephen King Adaptation

Paramount Pictures has released the first trailer for Pet Sematary, a new take on the Stephen King book of the same name which was adapted into a 1989 movie.
Just like last year’s IT, which currently has a sequel on the way, the movie is another new adaptation of one of King’s tales of terror. Starring in the movie is Jason Clarke, Amy Seimetz, John Lithgow, Jeté Laurence, and Hugo Lavoie.

Teaser Trailer For Remake Of Dario Argento’s ‘Suspiria’ Released

A teaser trailer has been released for Suspiria, a remake of Dario Argento’s 1977 horror film of the same name.
The remake is directed by Luca Guadagnino, who helmed the recent Academy Award winner Call Me by Your Name, and stars Dakota Johnson, Tilda Swinton, Mia Goth, Jessica Harper, and Chloe Grace Moretz. The screenplay was penned by David Kajganich, who previously wrote The Invasion and Blood Creek, co-wrote the upcoming Pet Sematary remake, and created the AMC series The Terror.

‘Starry Eyes’ Directors Set To Remake Stephen King’s ‘Pet Sematary’

Back in 2010 the writer behind 1408 was hired to work on a remake of Pet Sematary. Obviously that didn’t work out.
Now, after another adaptation of a Stephen King story in IT had great success at the box office, Paramount wants to keep things rolling with another crack at Pet Sematary. To make this happen for them, the studio has hired Starry Eyes directors Kevin Kolsch and Dennis Widmyer to make the movie.

AMC Orders Anthology Series ‘The Terror’ Based On Dan Simmons Novel; Ridley Scott To Produce

AMC has given the greenlight to a new anthology series titled The Terror, which will be based on the novel of the same name by author Dan Simmons.
The series is set in 1847 and follows a Royal Naval crew that, while searching for the Northwest Passage, is attacked by a mysterious predator that then stalks the ship. The script is written by David Kajganich, who previously penned The Invasion, Blood Creek, and True Story. He also worked on the script for the upcoming adaptation of Stephen King’s It. Kajganich will serve as showrunner on The Terror along with The Killing and The Whispers writer Soo Hugh.

David Kajganich Hired To Adapt Stephen King’s ‘The Stand’ For Ben Affleck, Warner Bros.

Just a few months ago Oscar-nominated screenwriter Steve Kloves (Wonder Boys, the Harry Potter movies) was in talks to pen the big-screen adaptation of Stephen King‘s epic horror-fantasy novel The Stand for director David Yates.
Since then both Kloves and Yates have left the production and the director’s chair has been filled for the moment by actor-director Ben Affleck, on a career hot streak after the critical and commercial success of his 2010 crime drama The Town. Now Affleck has found his writer of choice for the project, and it is David Kajganich.
