Rumor: ‘Wonder Woman’ To Precede Events Of ‘Batman v Superman’
Gal Gadot will introduce Wonder Woman to the big screen in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. This will mark the first time that the DC heroine has graced cinemas. She will then move on to be featured in her own titular solo film. Rumors have been going around on where (or rather when) the film is set. Early on, there was word that Wonder Woman could take place during World War I, which would contradict earlier rumors that Wonder Woman I and II would be set during World War I and II, respectively, with the final film taking place during modern times.
Now, a new rumor has popped up that seems to clarify when the film is actually taking place. According to JoBlo, Wonder Woman will precede the events — in fact, it will take place months before the events — of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. According to the site, the first solo film will also feature flashbacks to World War I. More on the story below.

Rumor: ‘Wonder Woman’ May Take Place During World War I
The setting for Wonder Woman is an important one. In the comics, she was first introduced during World War II, where she ventured into the world of Man and helped the Americans in their fight against Nazi Germany. There was a previous rumor that the film could first take place in the 1920s, with a sequel set during the 1930s and World War II, and the final installment of the trilogy happening in modern times. Though that has yet to be confirmed, a new rumor debunks the first one by not only changing the setting, but putting a twist on the narrative as a whole. More on the story here below.
