HBO’s ‘Watchmen’ Trailer: Counting Down To The End Of The World
Damon Lindelof‘s vision of Watchmen, which will appear on HBO, will not be like the traditional comic book adaptations we are accustomed to seeing. Instead, the series will have a modern day spin on the Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons comic, which focused on themes of time, patriotism, lies and deceit, and modernization. So while it won’t be a direct adaptation, it looks like some of those themes will carry over into the show, which we still know very little about.
HBO has released a new trailer that should give us a slight idea of what to expect. Check it out below.

It’s being reported that Academy Award winner Jeremy Irons has signed on for the pilot, which would be only the second major TV role for the actor should HBO order it to series. The other being The Borgias.

Trailer 2 For Netflix’s Lemony Snicket’s ‘A Series Of Unfortunate Events’
Netflix is continuing to show off its series adaptation of Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events starring Neil Patrick Harris as Count Olaf.
We first saw a teaser featuring Snicket, the pen name of the author of the books the series is based on, Daniel Handler, who’s played on the show by Patrick Warburton. Then came a teaser trailer introducing Harris’s version of the Olaf character, a tough role to take on after Jim Carrey famously played him in the 2004 feature film adaptation. More recently Netflix has gotten to the good stuff, releasing a full trailer last month and now a second full trailer today. You can watch both of the full trailers below.
