It’s really hard to get a comic book fan’s attention when Guardians of the Galaxy keeps jumping up and down while flailing its arms. And rightfully so, the trailer was a smashing success. But there are a few other comic book movies that have yet to be released that have a much bigger fan base and an already established franchise, such as X-Men: Days Of Future Past, which has had only one trailer so far.

But with the May 23, 2014 release date just months away, we can expect to see a new one soon. Until then Fox has released four new movie stills as well as a slew of character images to help promote the film. Check them out in the photo gallery here below.

X-Men: Days Of Future Past Image 03

If you have watched the first trailer for Bryan Singer‘s X-Men: Days OF Future Past already, you might have noticed some changes made to the plot that’s been ripped from story arc of the same name. Specifically the one where Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) travels back in time and not Kitty Pryde (Ellen Page).

In the comics, Kitty is the one who is sent back in time to warn the X-Men of the impending war against mutants. This left a few wondering, why make such a change, especially for an iconic story like “Days of Future Past.” Well writer Simon Kinberg took some time to offer an explanation as to why the decision was made, and you can read what he had to say below.

This new trailer, which is titled “Beautiful Drama,” is much shorter than previous videos, clocking in at only a little over three minutes in length. But it still features game stars Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe talking about the game, and shows off plenty of impressive new footage.

Alexander SkarsgÃ¥rd and Ellen Page co-star as Benji and Lizzy, leaders of The East who use “jams” to expose pharmaceutical companies and energy conglomerates that destroy the planet. These agents of chaos aren’t just environmental activists, but victims of the system.
