Spoilers for Scream Queens

You gotta love any show that names an episode “Lovin the D.” Last week, things got way too kinky as Jamie Lee Curtis directed her first episode of the show, and her Cathy Munsch quickly became the subject of a love triangle as Wes Gardner (Oliver Hudson) returned and swept her off her feet, which caused huge jealousy for Dr. Holt (John Stamos). It was later revealed that he is also one of the Green Meanie killers since his daughter Grace went nuts after season 1. He left Chamberlain (James Earl) a bloody mess. That gives us Wes, Ingrid Hoffel (Kirstie Alley), the hospital admin out for revenge against the Chanels, and Dr. Cassidy Cascade (Taylor Lautner), the baby in the belly from the premiere as our three (so far) killers. Of course Hester Lea Michele) is still roaming the hospital and she was the killer from season 1. And technically Chanel (Emma Roberts) killed Hoffel’s sister at Kappa house… and Holt has a the hand of a serial killer… and Munsch definitely murdered her husband last season… jeez man, who isn’t a killer on this show!

Scream Queens First Look Header

Good afternoon idiot hookers, Scream Queens are back. Fox’s sometimes genius, always entertaining Scream Queens is returning this month for its second season. Created by the trio behind Glee and American Horror Story, Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan, and starring the original scream queen, Jamie Lee Curtis, Scream Queens told the story of Kappa House, led by the Chanels being targeted by a killer who dressed as the college mascot. At the end of last season we found out that the culprit behind the murders was Hester (Lea Michele) who framed the Chanels, #1 (Emma Roberts). #3 (Billie Lourd), and #5 (Abigail Breslin). The three of them were locked in the mental ward at the end of the season.

Check out the video below.

So it has come to this. The two part season finale of Scream Queens. The Chanels of Kappa spent last week’s episode trying to kill their number one murder suspect, Dean Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis). But she apparently has a knack for survival, even attempted poisoning and freezing. Here’s what we know: 20 years ago a Kappa girl gave birth to twins in a bathtub during a frat party. She bled out, leaving the twins with crazy Gigi (Nasim Pedrad) who raised them to be vengeance seeking killers wearing school mascot Red Devil outfits as their cover. The twins half-sister, Grace (Skyler Samuels) and Dad, Wes (Oliver Hudson) are trying to cope with Gigi’s beheading as well as plenty of other deaths. Grace’s boyfriend Pete (Diego Boneta) is hiding something… other than just a Red Devil costume in his closet. We know one of the Devils was Boone (Nick Jonas) and Gigi was the organizer of the kill spree. With both dead, we are left with one psychopathic Red Devil, presumably a female. Chanel (Emma Roberts)? Chanel #3 or #5 (Billie Lourd or Abigail Breslin)? Maybe someone supposedly dead like Chanel #2 (Ariana Grande). Best thing I can say about Scream Queens; other than that it’s hilarious and off-the-wall crazy, with cool kills and ridiculously quotable dialogue, is that I have NO clue who will be revealed as the killer!

Beware of spoilers!

It’s the most glorious non Chanel-oween holiday of the year – Black Friday! Sure, Scream Queens’ Thanksgiving was ruined when the turkey ended up being Gigi’s (Nasim Pedrad) severed head. But hey, that can’t keep a good Chanel down. Chanel (Emma Roberts), rich beyond her wildest dreams, uses Black Friday to tease the “manatee” and buy really cheap gifts for her friends. Even Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis) tries to stop them, but alas, the Chanels are determined to get their doorbusters. Wes (Oliver Hudson), Grace (Skyler Samuels) and Pete (Diego Boneta) head to the police station, but find everyone on the “retail beat.” Wes is broken up about his girlfriend; “My girlfriend was murdered. The killer cut her head off, and tried to serve it to us for Thanksgiving.”

It’s a very Radwell Thanksgiving on Scream Queens! Chad (Glen Powell) has invited Chanel (Emma Roberts) to his family compound for the holiday, which we promised last week was haunted, with furniture that occasionally screams and bleeds. Last week, Boone (Nick Jonas) returned from the dead, but that was short lived as his twin Red Devil turned on him and sided with Gigi (Nasim Pedrad), the mastermind of all this revenge and bloodshed. We know that the second Red Devil is a female… so who is it? Is it one of the Chanels, perhaps #3 (Billie Lourd) who claims to be the spawn of Charles Manson… or #5 (Abigail Breslin) who has somehow managed to escape death more than once. Is it someone, who like Boone, was thought to be long dead, like Chanel #2 (Ariana Grande)? We’re getting close to the end of the season, and one of the best things I can say is I have no clue who the other Devil is. Compared to MTV’s summer slasher series Scream, where I figured out the exact killer in literally the second episode. So kudos to creators Brad, Ian, and Ryan for keeping me on my toes.

On Scream Queens, Boone is freely walking around campus in his horrible disguise, that everyone thinks is Joaquin Phoenix doing performance art. Chanel #3 (Billie Lourd) stumbles into him and since he was “killed” by the Red Devil, the obvious conclusion is… he’s a ghost. Yeah, no one ever accused the Chanels of being the sharpest tool in that place you keep tools. Boone (Nick Jonas) spooks her and she runs off. Boone and his Red Devil 2 are planning to kill off mastermind Gigi (Nasim Pedrad). He asks about Zayday; a bit of a puzzling inquiry. Meanwhile, as per the events of last week: Devils attacking Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis) and killing candle blogger Jennifer, Wallace University is shutting down and by extension, Kappa is too. Of course Chanel (Emma Roberts) will have none of this.

Last week Chanel #2 (Ariana Grande) returned from the dead, thanks to a Ouija board that helped Chanel (Emma Roberts) avoid murder at the hands of the… Chanels. Phew, it’s always confusing dealing with that crew. Chanel tries to focus on the “real enemies,” Zayday and Grace… after all, all this craziness and murder started once they got here right? We found out that Dean Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis) is even crazier than we imagined, having murdered her ex-husband and framed the preppy college girl who took him from her. In fact, Chanel AND Munsch have now killed people, and aren’t even in consideration for the killer on the show. We know that Gigi (Nasim Pedrad) is pulling the strings, but who is in the Devil suit… or suits?

Where we last left our heroines of Kappa in Scream Queens, it was slumber party massacre! The Red Devil broke into Kappa, and left a wake of bodies, notably “Predatory Lez” Sam (Jeanna Han). After chasing Kappa’s new President Zayday (Keke Palmer) and Queen B, Chanel (Emma Roberts) down into the depths of the sorority, the Devil was unable to deliver the final axe blow to either. We know that the brains behind the Devil belong to Gigi (Nasim Pedrad) who happens to be dating good girl Grace’s (Skyler Samuels) dad Wes (Oliver Hudson). All the while there are suspects aplenty. Wes is convinced Dean Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis) is responsible, while the multiple Chanels all give off suspect vibes, especially complete psycho Hester… Chanel #6 (Lea Michele). Let’s get to tonight’s episode… remember; In Chad Radwell we trust!

If you believe any press is good press, then this was a great couple of days for FOX and horror shows. After years of media dormancy, the PTC (Parent Television Council) publicly decried FX’s American Horror Story AND FOX’s Scream Queens as two of the sickest shows in TV history for their high levels of sex and violence… sometimes simultaneously. While they were more disgusted with AHS, it is on late, and on cable. Scream Queens, on the other hand, is on network TV and airs at 7pm in midwestern areas. So as I’ve been telling you, if you like bloody good fun, Scream Queens is pissing off the right people! You gotta hand it to Brad Falchuk and Ryan Murphy, who created BOTH shows.

Spoilers below for Scream Queens.

Over its first two weeks, I’d challenge you find a show as flamboyantly off the wall as Scream Queens. Combining the bloodshed of an 80s slasher horror film with the teenage drama of Glee, Scream Queens and its cast throw themselves into the craziness with frenzied rigor, chewing the scenery as it comes. There are the Chanels of Kappa House, led by Emma Roberts who embraces every “bitch queen” cliche and runs with them; the quickly sure of herself Chanel # 5 (Abigail Breslin) and Charles Manson’s illegitimate love child, Chanel #3 (Billie Lourd). Then there is Dean Cathy Munsch, the original Scream Queen herself (Jamie Lee Curtis), who has decided to move into the Kappa House to prevent the Red Devil from continuing to slaughter sorority sisters. And of course… there is Chad Radwell (Glen Powell), the coolest most dreamiest guy on campus who has had his way with the Kappa girls. He is what girls want and guys want to be. And his name is CHAD RADWELL!!! C’mon!

Spoilers below.
