Below you’ll find the solicitations information and cover artwork for all of Dynamite comic book titles that were released on December 30, 2015. I’m really enjoying the Vampirella storyline with Aliens, or is it the Aliens storyline with Vampirella. Whichever, it’s been fun. I also got my first taste of Warren Ellis writing James Bond. Well done, sir. Well done, indeed.

The Bionic Woman #10The Bionic Woman #10
Written by Paul Tobin
Art by Juan Antonio Ramirez
Colors by Inlight Studios
Letters by Simon Bowland
Cover by Erik Jones
Dynamite Entertainment
Release Date: July 3, 2013
Cover Price: $3.99

Sadly, The Bionic Woman #10 is the last issue of this highly underrated series. Although it was plagued by many things like lateness and low readership, quality storytelling surely wasn’t the problem.

Writer Paul Tobin ends this series the same way he started it – with some good action, page-turning suspense, and a thrilling story. It’s Jamie and the Fembots versus Russia in this issue, and by the looks of these things, Russia’s chances aren’t looking too great. Once again, Tobin has taken the regular, expected story and flipped it on its ear. There’s some really great hold your breath moments in this issue, as well as some great action and a definite ending to the Fembots storyline. The book also ends with a wink and a nod, just like comic books used to end, but it never goes over the top corny either.

The Bionic Man vs The Bionic Woman #4 is the big action issue that leads up to the big finale next issue. It’s full of action, and crisp, sharp dialogue and great art, to boot!

If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times. LET KEITH CHAMPAGNE WRITE THE BIONIC MAN MONTHLY SERIES!!!! He excells in everything that that book needs on a monthly basis. Humor, great, believable dialogue, the ability to put heroes in “real world” situations without going too over the top. Dynamite NEEDS him on that book! But, back to this issue. Steve is missing 3 of his limbs and he’s up against the main big bad from the series. Who can rescue him? I’m not telling! But, Champagne combines all the charm, action and plot line in this book that it’s a great modern day version of both franchises.

I have to admit, I’ve fallen a little behind in the Kirby: Genesis universe, but Captain Victory #1 really intrigued me when it was announced a few months ago, and I’m happy to report, it is exactly what I’d hoped that it would be. A good old-fashioned sci-fi action comic, with a few twists and turns thrown in to make things interesting.
