X-Men: Days of Future Past is the X-Men movie I’ve dreamed of since my youth, back in the day when I mowed lawns during the dog days of summer to save up enough money to buy the latest X-comics off the shaky wire racks at my neighborhood 7-11. Those were the days when the comics were written by the great Chris Claremont and drawn by his gifted artistic equal Jim Lee and Future Past is the closest we’ve come yet to having a motion picture that brings those bold emotions, visuals, and outrageous “only in the funny books” style of four-color storytelling to explosive life.

As the late, great Mickey Newbury once sung, the future’s not what it used to be. The world has long been ravaged by a war between an alliance of mutants and sympathetic humans and the relentless robotic mutant hunters the Sentinels. Professor Xavier (Patrick Stewart) and his X-Men are now the last remnants of the resistance and every day their numbers get lower. Kitty Pryde (Ellen Page) and her ability to project a person’s consciousness back in time has helped give them a slim advantage in the ongoing battle and that power must now be used to send someone back to the point in history when the war became unavoidable: the assassination of Sentinel creator Dr. Bolivar Trask (Peter Dinklage) at the hands of Xavier’s former friend and surrogate sister Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) in 1973.

Qwikster

To say people were angry when Netflix announced even more price increases in July would be an outrageous understatement, to say the least.

But instead of people just complaining and moving on like we so often tend to do, the negative reaction was matched by significant losses. Netflix shares have dropped nearly 20% so far, and the company’s previous estimation of around 25 million subscribers by the end of the third quarter has now been lowered to 24 million, meaning at least a million people have already decided to bail on the service.

Instead of just leaving things be and see how they turn out, Netflix is making some more big changes (though none to prices, no worries).

Netflix Announces MORE Price & Plan Changes You Probably Won’t Be Happy About

Just last November, Netflix announced that they would be increasing their prices due to their ever–growing selection of movies and TV shows available to watch instantly or on DVD and Blu–ray.

At the time, most customers seemed to be upset over the price changes—the company does offer an gigantic amount of movies and shows to watch, but they’ve always had trouble getting what people actually wanted to watch. The vast majority of their titles are strange and obscure offerings most people have never even heard of. And while they have increased the amount of worthy options, many people still think the price isn’t worth the low amount of top–level movies and shows available.

All of that said, the video rental giant still projects to keep growing more and more each year, and they’re raising prices and changing their plans again to keep up with demand. Continue reading to see what’s being changed and how much it will cost you.
