Edie Falco

It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything about the Avatar sequels. What was once something that was gestating has now completed production.

While we know that Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, and Stephan Lang are all set to return and reprise their respective roles, Edie Falco will be joining the film as a mysterious new character who has ties to a rather shady group with possibly nefarious intentions for Pandora. More on the report below.

Alita: Battle Angel Trailer

The release date for director Robert Rodriguez’s Alita: Battle Angel has been pushed back for far too long. But now it looks like it has finally settled on a release date. Though the film was set for a December release, it’s new date does give us a chance to get a better idea of what the film is.

While most know it as an adaptation of the manga of the same name, Alita’s Pinocchio-esque story is expected to be action-packed and thrilling, as noted by the very exciting new trailer. The film follows a scientist (Christoph Waltz) who discovers and rebuilds a damaged cyborg named Alita (Rosa Salazar). However, what Alita doesn’t realize is that she is has untold secrets. The kind of secrets very powerful people like Vector (Mahershala Ali) is after. Check it out, below.

James Cameron directing Avatar

Yes, the Avatar sequels (yes, more than one) have been in development since we could remember. Of course, numerous delays have put these sequels on hold for a very long time. But it looks like director James Cameron is ready to go. Production for these films begun last year, and with everything being kept a secret, we don’t know much about these films. But maybe a few titles will help.

There’s a new rumor that says the four titles of the Avatar sequels have been revealed. So if you want to be kept in the dark, I suggest you refrain from clicking below. But if you are eager to know, then, by all means, continue reading. Just get ready for some really cheesy subtitles.

Directed by James Cameron
Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, Edward Furlong, Robert Patrick
Lionsgate Home Entertainment
Release date: July 17, 2018 (Endoarm Box Set)

Terminator 2 remains one of the most important films of my life. Nine years old in 1991, the TV ads for it drove me into a frenzy and my dad’s bad judgment or not allowed me to watch the original before taking me to see T2 in theaters on opening weekend. It was the first movie I ever saw multiple times in theaters, and 27 years later it still holds up as one of the greatest films of all time. It is a masterpiece of action set pieces, drama, music and violence. Titanic and Avatar be damned, THIS is James Cameron’s magnum opus. Now there is new 4K Ultra HD/Blu-ray bundle available, giving home viewers the chance to enjoy one of the most epic films in the most epic way.

Alita: Battle Angel

20th Century Fox has released the second trailer for Alita: Battle Angel. The first trailer for the movie was released late last year.

The movie, which stars Rosa Salazar, Christoph Waltz, Jennifer Connelly, Mahershala Ali, Ed Skrein, Jackie Earle Haley, and Keean Johnson, has been in the works for a while now, with Aliens, Terminator 2, Titanic, and Avatar director James Cameron attached to the project for nearly two decades now. Cameron ultimately wasn’t able to direct the movie, with his multiple Avatar sequels on the way, so Sin City and From Dusk Till Dawn director Robert Rodriguez took over that role. Cameron did, however, pen the screenplay along with Laeta Kalogridis and Rodriguez.

George Lucas Star Wars

It’s no secret that George Lucas had planned on releasing a new Star Wars trilogy before he sold it to Disney for $4 billion. A trilogy of trilogies of sorts. This new trilogy would have ended his vision for the saga. But that wasn’t the case after the release of J.J. Abrams’ The Force Awakens. But no one knew about what Lucas had in store, until now.

A new excerpt from James Cameron’s Story of Science Fiction book reveals that there was more science to the Force than originally thought. So if you needed a better explanation for midi-chlorians, then you would have gotten it in his new trilogy. More on the story below.
