Back in May, Bethesda Softworks unveiled the amazing Collector’s Edition they would be putting out for Fallout: New Vegas (Read: Behold: Bethesda To Release Awesome ‘Fallout: New Vegas’ Collector’s Edition), and while the special package will run a little pricey (feel free to buy it for me…please?), those who can afford it will find themselves in possession of something all Fallout fanatics will want.

One of the items included in the Collector’s Edition is a special graphic novel titled Fallout: New Vegas – All Roads, which is created by the game’s senior designer, Chris Avellone, along with Dark Horse Comics to add a little more story to the mix. The graphic novel introduces us to the town of New Vegas, one of the few places left in the world that is still operational, and the many groups battling to the death in hopes of ruling the post-apocalyptic kingdom.

To help convince people the Collector’s Edition with graphic novel is worth picking up, a preview has been released on iTunes, and as an app on your iPhone or iPad. You can check it out and look more into it by heading to the Apple iTunes Preview page.

What if you were the world’s vilest, nastiest villain? What if you decided to change your ways? Would anyone believe you? Could you permanently change everything about the way you lived your life? These are the questions that are posed by the story of Max Danger, formerly known as supervillain Max Damage.

Incorruptible takes place in the same universe as Irredeemable, the comic about Plutonian, a beloved hero who turned into an evil, heartless villain. This is the story of the flip side of that coin. Max Danger watches Plutonian attack a town, and the incident changes him. He decides to become a hero. Of course, now he has to convince everyone that his conversion is legitimate.

I have been reading both Mark Waid‘s Irredeemable and his Incorruptible since issue 1 on both of them. I have enjoyed Irredeemable immensely and started out pretty interested in Incorruptible with the first couple of issues. I am definitely still interested in where the story goes because after as many issues of Irredeemable as there have been, I am confident that Waid knows where he wants to go with this story. My only problem is that I don’t find myself connecting to the characters in the same way in this part of the universe.

As the story continues we get to see more about how Max Damage decided to change from world’s greatest villain to hero during the Plutonian’s massacre. As this unfolds we also see that Max has a few things he would like to look in to for his path to being a hero. I find that I am more interested in the Police Lieutenant, Louis Armadale, and the psychology behind Max Damage and his redemptive goals than I am anything to do with Jail Bait. She is a little bit annoying and hard to relate to for me.

Until recently, Max Damage headed the FBI’s most wanted list. Then mankind’s premier defender, the Plutonian, went berserk and blew up the FBI.

After weeks of disappearance, Max has resurfaced, apparently having rededicated his life to superheroism. Max’s sidekick, the severely underage Jailbait, is — to put it mildly — unhappy with this bizarre decision. Max’s former enemy, police lieutenant Louis Armadale, is skeptical of Max’s new path. Together, the three have followed a trail of violence to the hidden lab of David Orjean (mockingly known as “Dr. Origin”), where ordinary people (terrified of Plutonian) are paying huge money in hopes of being granted superpowers…

Previously in Incorruptible

Until recently, Max Damage headed the FBI’s most wanted list. Then mankind’s premier defender, the Plutonian, went berserk and blew up the FBI.

Something happened in the moment of Plutonian’s transformation, something Max isn’t talking about yet…but it was a transformative moment for Max, as well. After weeks of disappearance, Max has resurfaced, apparently having rededicated his life to superheroism. Max’s sidekick, the severely underage Jailbait, is — to put it mildly — unhappy with his bizarre decision. Max’s former enemy, police lieutenant Louis Armadale, is skeptical of Max’s new path…but he’s willing to listen, eager to find out just what set this former supercriminal on his new path…

The second issue of Incorruptible continues to give us more information on Max Damage, revealing more on his super power through a clever shaving scene with him and Jailbait that I really enjoyed. Speaking of Jailbait, I find her parts (no pun intended) hilarious and whenever she comes on-panel I light up with excitement.
