Motley Crue Girls Girls Girls lyrics on Jeopardy

On a recent episode of the trivia TV game show Jeopardy!, one of the clues that host Alex Trebek was tasked with had him reciting some provocative lyrics from the Motley Crue song “Girls, Girls, Girls” and he did so with his usual sass, which was quite amusing.

In a game that aired on February 2, 2015, the know-it-all host emphatically read the lyrics from the chorus to the 1987 rock song about – you guessed it – females strippers: “Girls, Girls, Girls… long legs & burgundy lips, Girls, Girls, Girls… dancin’ down on the Sunset Strip… Girls, Girls, Girls.”

The clue came from the “Hard Rockers” category and, thankfully, the contestant guessed the correct name of the hard rock group responsible for the hit song, which comes from the legendary rockers’ multi-platinum album, Girls Girls Girls.

Check out the video of Trebek reading the clue here below.

Disney In Depth banner

If you have the opportunity to visit Walt Disney World, you must know which rides and shows everyone queues up for at the start of the day. At Epcot, all race toward Soarin’ or Test Track. For Animal Kingdom, Expedition Everest, and Kilimanjaro Safaris bring the longest lines. But many attractions are often unfortunately overlooked, namely because many other spectacles distract guests’ attention.

The purpose behind this Disney In Depth is to honor the many shows, exhibits, films, and rides that may be forgotten in the mix of the most popular attractions at Walt Disney World. Here are my 10 Most Overlooked Walt Disney World Attractions.

Don Pardo

Don Pardo, venerable voice over and television show announcer, who spanned a career over 70 years, mainly with NBC, and best remembered as the original announcer of Saturday Night Live, has died at the age of 96.

No other announcer had the kind of urgency and instantly recognizable lilt and lift in his vocal patterns quite like Don Pardo did. In many ways, with his snappy prose, clipped cadence, and swooping baritone, Pardo exemplified the stereotype of an announcer and the public’s perception of one, in the best possible way.

Stephen King Jeopardy banner

Famed author Stephen King, who’s horror-filled erudite tomes such as Carrie, The Stand, The Shining, Salem’s Lot, and countless others, have been scaring the hell out of the world for almost 40 years now, is getting his own category on the popular long-running game show Jeopardy!, on an episode to be aired this Tuesday, March 5th.

The category follows in the footsteps of the success the program had when they did one for the Marvel Universe back in November of last year, which we covered here. That category had brain twisted comic book denizens from coast to coast. Now the same will be done with Mr. King, and viewers who tune in this Tuesday will be able to test their knowledge and see if they can run the category and answer all five questions or be stumped.

In what has to be one of the oddest cross promotions Marvel Comics has executed, the company’s new brand Marvel NOW! will be a featured category on the television quiz show Jeopardy! this Thursday.
