Apple TV Plus

A new adaptation of the Charles Dickens classic A Christmas Carol is on the way. This one will be a musical, with Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell set to star.

Now this latest take on A Christmas Carol has a home. After a bidding war which included Netflix, Warner Bros., and Paramount all making offers to acquire the movie, it was Apple who ultimately won the project and is now in final negotiations to complete the acquisition. And it sounds like they dropped some big money on the table to pass all other bidders.

We're the Millers PosterWe’re the Millers
Director: Rawson Marshall Thurber
Screenwriters: Bob Fisher, Steve Faber, Sean Anders, John Morris
Cast: Jason Sudeikis, Jennifer Aniston, Emma Roberts, Will Poulter, Ed Helms, Nick Offerman, Kathryn Hahn
Warner Bros. | New Line Cinema
Rated R | 110 Minutes
Release Date: August 7, 2013

Directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber (Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story), We’re the Millers stars Saturday Night Live alum Jason Sudeikis as David Clark, Denver’s #1 dope dealer whose entire stash has been stolen by thugs with great bone structure.

David is recruited by well-to-do pompous asshole Brad Gurdlinger (Ed Helms, The Hangover Part III) to pick up a Winnebago full of marijuana (enough to kill Willy Nelson) from Mexico, for which he’ll be rewarded handsomely.

Realizing that one man attempting to get through customs with an weed-filled RV all by himself is too suspicious, he hires a stripper (Jennifer Aniston) and two teenagers, a homeless goth girl (Emma Roberts) and an awkward virgin (Will Poulter), to play an all-American family – the Millers – so as to not arouse suspicion while crossing the border.

Dumb and Dumber

At a press junket for their latest movie The Three Stooges, directors Peter and Bobby Farrelly took some time to discuss the long-rumored sequel to their 1994 smash hit debut Dumb & Dumber, which also helped launch the career of star Jim Carrey. Coming Soon reports that Peter Farrelly said that the movie is definitely in the works with the stars returning and that the brothers are looking to begin production later this year on Dumb & Dumber 2 (title subject to change).”

We’re getting set to shoot Dumb and Dumber 2 in September,” Farrelly said. “It’s the first sequel we’ve ever done and we’ve got Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels back.”

RELEASE DATE: November 1, 2011

It feels like only yesterday that Toy Story first came out and changed the world of movies as we know them. A fully-animated feature film? Absolutely unheard of! And it almost never happened, with numerous issues putting to the test the young Pixar Animation team trying to make it. But it did happen, eventually, and computer animated movies have become a staple of modern day cinema.

The movie, for those who have somehow never seen it, follows a young boy’s collection of toys led by the once-favorite, a cowboy named Woody (Tom Hanks), who’s trying to come to terms with the boy’s impressive new favorite toy, the highly sought after Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen) action figure.

New ‘Toy Story 3’ Clip Looks Deeper Into The Choices That Need To Be Made

Toy Story 3

A brand new clip has shown up online for the exciting upcoming trilogy-making Toy Story 3, complete with an introduction from director Lee Unkrich.

In the first full trailer for the movie, we saw Andy, now 18-years-old and heading off to college (and still voiced by original actor John Morris), holding Woody (Tom Hanks) and Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen) in his hands, deciding what to do with them and his other old toys. This was a favorite part of the trailer because we’ve all looked at old toys many years after we loved them so much and still felt that natural connection to them. In this clip, we get a lot more from this scene and how the movie is going to be set up when we finally see it on June 18, 2010.

This Toy Story 3 clip is set to air on ABC Family when they air The Incredibles on Christmas night at 8:30. Click on over to the other side to check it out right now!

Toy Story 3

It was an exciting day when the first teaser trailer for Toy Story 3 was released, but that trailer didn’t show us too much in terms of story and such. It was clear that the real moment of magic — not counting the day we can see it in theaters on June 18, 2010 — would be when we were able to watch the full theatrical trailer…and that moment is right now. The official Toy Story 3 trailer has been released to the masses and can be seen here below!

The trailer is wonderful, as you fairly might have assumed, and it whisks you right back to that world, complete with all the glorious nostalgia you possess there. It opens up with a nice, warm little re-introduction to the young boy Andy and his childhood with everyone’s favorite toy box before shooting us to present day where Andy — now 18-years-old — is off to college and trying to figure out what to do with his old toys. We find out that they’re shipped off to a daycare center where a rather humorous segment of rampaging toddlers tears through the bunch. This sets up the main story of the crew attempting a daring escape from the daycare and their adventure to find home.

Click on over to the other side to check out the trailer!
