The Flash Starring Ezra Miller

Just when things were looking good for Warner Bros. DCEU after the release of Wonder Woman and Aquaman, The Flash brings back memories of how the shared universe continues to struggle. In the latest bit of news, Ezra Miller reportedly seems to be very unhappy with the direction that the speedster is heading towards in the standalone film and is now working with DC comics writer Grant Morrison on a brand new script that will compete against the one being written by directors John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein. And this news comes at a time when Miller’s contract to play as Barry Allen expires this coming May. More on the report here below.

Vacation header

Warner Bros. has just released the final red band theatrical trailer for the Vacation reboot. Ed Helms stars as an all grown up Rusty Griswold, who carries on the Griswold tradition of unnecessarily taking his family on a cross country vacation to Walley World, in order to bring his family together, just like in the first film. Christina Applegate plays his wife, Debbie.

As the red band card suggests, this is a very NSFW trailer, so if you really want to see it, put some headphones on, or just wait until you get home. But if you do choose the latter, check out the trailer below.

Drew Goddard (Cabin in the Woods) supposedly had been the studios’ top choice to write and direct the reboot, but recently a list of possible directors up for the job was released by Deadline’s Mike Fleming Jr. and Goddard’s name is nowhere to be found. Instead it appears as if Marvel and Sony are on the hunt for someone who will bring a lighter touch to the proceedings because the list features the likes of Jonathan Levine, Jared Hess, Jason Moore, Theodore Melfi, and the team of John Francis Daley and Jonathan M.
