D23 Expo 2019: ‘Frozen 2’ Footage Shows Anna and Elsa’s Past With New Songs
Disney’s D23 Expo tends to close out its studio panel in a very big way, and they did that by giving attendees a first look today at some scenes from Frozen 2. A sequel to 2013’s massively successful Frozen, the animated film continues the adventures of Anna (Kristen Bell) and Elsa (Idina Menzel), who journey with their friends Olaf (Josh Gad), Kristoff (Jonathan Groff), and Sven (also Groff) outside of the comfort of the kingdom of Arendelle, to discover the truth about Elsa’s powers and what happened to their parents. Along the way, they will discover where Anna and Elsa’s parents were going and that the past isn’t what it appears to be. See more below for our on-site coverage from D23.

‘Little Monsters’ Trailer: Lupita Nyong’o Protecting Kindergarteners From The Slow Zombies
Lupita Nyong’o played terrific characters in Star Wars and in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but how can one resist watching her play a cheery kindergarten teacher who protects her students from zombies… the slow kind? Because she will be doing plenty of that in Little Monsters. The film made its festival run earlier this year and was met with mixed reviews, but judging by the looks of it, this is the kind of zombie flick I would enjoy watching.
Check out the red-band trailer here below.

‘Frozen 2’ Trailer: Anna and Elsa Look To The Past
Walt Disney Animation Studios teased us with a beautifully animated Frozen 2 trailer a few months back. Though it was a bit vague, it was clear that sequel would take a darker turn.

And with the help of her sister Anna (Kristen Bell), the ice collecting Kristoff (Jonathan Groff), and cheery snowman Olaf (Josh Gad), they will discover that there may be more to Elsa’s powers than meets the eye. Movie Review: A Dog’s Journey

A Dog’s Journey

Cast: Josh Gad, Dennis Quaid, Marg Helgenberger, Betty Gilpin, Kathryn Prescott, Henry Lau
Distributor: Universal Studios
Rated PG | Minutes: 108
Release Date: May 17, 2019
Going into a film like A Dog’s Journey, you can expect to be a little bit overcome with emotion and sentimentality. It’s going to be the kind of thing that plays well with dog owners as it speaks to the nature of how much they care for their beloved companions. A love letter to dog owners at best, its strength lies in presenting that care and love on screen. With the help of obvious manipulation and engineered emotional triggers, this sequel to 2017’s A Dog’s Purpose uses these canines to hit all the sweet spots that will have anyone, even the cynics, shed some tears.
Just don’t expect to share that some love or concern for some of its one-dimensional characters. Check out my full review below.
