Studio: Walt Disney Studios
Rated PG | 129 Minutes

The idea of continuing the story of Mary Poppins may seem absurd at first. After all, it has been 54 years since the original film, starring Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke, was released. And now, Disney has released a sequel,
Mary Poppins Returns. Of course, there are new younger stars to appear to take over some of the previous roles left behind by the cast of the first film. But that doesn’t mean much has changed. Emily Blunt carries on the spirit of the eponymous character, played originally by Andrews, and makes it her own. Additionally, Lin-Manuel Miranda is a pure joy to watch as his eyes light up with child-like wonder when Poppins returns.

Here We Go Again, the newest installment of the musical franchise that has a penchant for breaking out in song and dance to ABBA. And here is the surprising thing about that hybrid sequel and prequel. It’s actually good. No, scratch that, it’s really good.

Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again is the film you can’t help but tap your foot to when the music feels good, and cry to when there’s a ballad to be sung. The Graham Norton Show Jamie Dornan Julie Walters, Stephen Mangan Christian Grey cake

Fifty Shades Of Grey actor Jamie Dornan is currently out making the talk show rounds to promote his new film, which opened in theaters this weekend. One of those promotional stops was to The Graham Norton Show last night, where he came face to face with a life-sized cake of his Christian Grey character.

While standing with Norton, British actor Stephen Mangan, and Harry Potter actress Julie Walters, Dornan took a taste from the Christian Grey cake, after Norton quite awkwardly cut slices from the gut area. One of the cake’s creators was in the audience and she revealed a few details about the edible version of the character with “singular tastes” (BDSM, people!).

Watch the videos here below of Dornan on The Graham Norton Show having a taste of the aforementioned cake as well as doing the interview portion of the episode where the host asked the audience if they’ve read Fifty Shades Of Grey.

5-Disc Blu-ray | 3-Disc Blu-ray | DVD
Release Date: November 13, 2012

The number 13. It is a bad one, often fraught with misfortune. Sadly that misfortune applies to Pixar’s unlucky 13th feature, Brave, a bold, well-intentioned and genuinely good film with many elements that regretfully do not work in its favor. Fortuitously, though, its Blu-ray release is among the best you can find this holiday season. So bear with me and embark on a Blu-ray review of Brave.

Film

After an intense prologue set in medieval Scotland, where it looks like King Fergus (voiced with gusto by Billy Connolly) will be slain by demon bear Mor’du, we think the film will strike a consistently dark tone. In one sense, yes, Brave heads down an intense path with some accomplished guidance. Yet it also wanders around a trail scattered by silliness and irrelevance. That is perhaps the most consistent issue with Brave, in that it holds a conflicting narrative, never knowing if it wants to be a forceful or relaxed picture.

We’ve seen the wonderful-yet-brief teaser trailer, and now a full trailer has been released
