Is losing three lives worth saving thousands? Director Blomfeld (Reed Diamond) would say so. There is a terrorist group, Memento Mori, planning something big and Hawk-Eye, the prized “predictive policing” program isn’t cutting it. His plan is to reinstate pre-crime, and lock the pre-cogs back in a bigger, better milkbath. He knows they’re out there; they nearly caught Agatha (Laura Regan) and with Lt. Blake (Wilmer Valderrama) now in the know about Dash’s real identity, it seems only a matter of time before Agatha’s vision comes true.

Spoilers for the finale below.

Minority Report 103-02

Minority Report
Season 1 Episode 3: “Hawk-Eye”
Directed by Allan Arkush
Written by Kevin Falls
Created by Max Borenstein
Starring Stark Sands, Meagan Good, Wilmer Valderrama, Nick Zano, Daniel London, Laura Regan, Zhane Hall, Li Jun Li
FOX
Air Date: Monday, October 5th, 2015, 9pm

Hawk-Eye was mentioned by the Mayor in episode 1 of FOX’s new sci-fi thriller Minority Report. Hawk-Eye is the “predictive policing” program that will finally replace pre-crime. Dash (Stark Sands) is one of pre-crime’s pre-cognitive siblings, years removed from police enslavement, he is free and… working to help the police solve murders before they happen. Then again, I would too if my partner were Det. Lara Vega, the magnificent and beautiful Meagan Good. Together with the help of his former caretaker Wally (Daniel London), and the reluctant assistance of his twin seer brother Arthur (Nick Zano) they have prevented two murderous crimes already. Of course this draws attention; the type that could get them both busted… by her boss, Lt. Blake (Wilmer Valderrama), and his psychic sister Agatha (Laura Regan). Agatha has good reason to be skeptical, she sees a future where her, Dash and Arthur are back in the milk bath.

SDCC 2015: ‘Minority Report’ Panel & Fan Reactions

Minority Report Panel Comic-Con

In 2002, acclaimed director Steven Spielberg directed Minority Report. The sci-fi actioner was set in the near future, where all murder was basically eradicated thanks to the pre-cogs, three siblings capable of seeing the murders before they took place. The film starred Tom Cruise, Max Von Sydow, Colin Farrell, and an amazing Samantha Morton, and is one of Spielberg’s most underrated films. In September, FOX is bringing the futuristic world of Minority Report to the small screen, and right on time for a panel at San Diego Comic-Con. The show takes place after the conclusion of the film, and the pre-crime division is shut down. It focuses on the now free pre-cog Dash (Stark Sands) who is discovered by cop Lara (Meagan Good). She tries to secretly and illegally use his pre-cog abilities to solve murders

CHeck out the panel, the fan reactions, and trailer videos below.

First Trailer For ‘Minority Report’ TV Show At FOX

Minority Report: Stark Sands

Steven Spielberg is probably the greatest cinematic director of the last 40 years, a two-time Oscar winner for Best Director, and creator of some of most memorable films in history including JAWS, Jurassic Park, Schindler’s List, and E.T. So it’s understandable and almost excusable when one of his best films lived in relative anonymity for years… until now.

The film is 2002’s Minority Report. Tom Cruise starred as Detective John Anderton of the futuristic pre-crime division. Using three “pre-cogs” (children born with the ability to see murders before they take place) they have virtually wiped out violent crime. Of course that’s until a conspiracy unfolds to frame Anderton and leads to the end of pre-crime. The film, based on a story by sci-fi genius Philip K. Dick (did he write EVERY sci-fi story!?!?) is action packed and features amazing special effects but also is poignant and asks serious questions. The acting is also great — it’s Cruise at his best — and featured an Oscar-worthy supporting performance from Samantha Morton. Now, executive producer/writer Max Borenstein and director Mark Mylod are bringing Minority Report as a series to Fox and hopefully re-igniting interest in the under-appreciated classic film.

Kevin FallsJourneyman fans rejoice! Kevin Falls, creator of the late (and some would say, ‘great’) NBC show, is working on the pilot to Brian Michael Bendis‘ upcoming TV adaptation of Powers.

Previously, FX’s president and General Manager, John Landgraf had been asked about the project and he was able to confirm that it was still in the works and that Bendis had an outside writing partner who he described as,

“… a really, really good writer who got really excited about the project. The new writer and Brian have got a good take on it. They came in about two months ago and pitched what they were doing, and it was great.”

What he had not confirmed previously was the identity to this mysterious writer.
