Every day, Amazon offers up “Lightning Deals,” limited quantities of various products for a discounted price for a 4-hour window of time. You have to be on the lookout for these deals and once the item runs out within that four hours, the sale is over. Meaning, if you see something on sale that you want, buy it immediately before it’s gone.

Typically you don’t know what will be on sale until the minute it gets posted, but as part of this Black Friday event, Amazon has released this week’s Lightning Deal schedule for Movies & TV on DVD and Blu-ray. See list of today’s deals here below, along with more information on how these special deals work.

There’s also TONS of extremely low prices and great deals on DVDs and Blu-rays right now, so visit the BLACK FRIDAY DEALS page to see the wide selection.

NOTE: Amazon has lowered the price of ALL seasons of Mad Men on DVD and Blu-ray to $9.99 each from November 25-27!!! Visit the Mad Men page to select DVDs/Blu-rays to purchase.

Also, Amazon’s Blu-ray box set deal of the week is the Alien Anthology Blu-ray Edition for only $70.49 (that’s 50% off the list price of $139.99). This deal is valid only for this week through November 27, 2010.

Spoiler Talk: Killers

KillersWell here comes another romantic comedy, which seems to be the style nowadays. That’s right Katherine Heigl, who plays Jen, and Ashton Kutcher, who plays Spencer, bring you Killers. While this film did not necessarily bring a whole lot of new things to the genre, if you enjoy this type of movie, you will probably enjoy this as well.

While Killers was a by-the-numbers kind of movie, it was still a pretty fun popcorn flick, especially with the extremely beautiful Heigl involved. I definitely feel that the movie had a decent supporting cast to add to the two big names as well. When you add in Tom Selleck and Catherine O’Hara as the Kornfelt’s, Jen’s parents, this definitely makes the movie a lot more charming.

Throughout the movie you get a lot of fun action and some pretty decent laughs, but where the movie doesn’t come all the way together is in the execution of both of these genres to their full potential. The action scenes are not as spectacular as they could be and the comedy is definitely not as funny as it could be. The script just doesn’t seem to have been fully realized, which is a shame considering how charming the cast is.

Anyways enough of the chit chat, let’s jump right into some SPOILER TALK! The following are my thoughts, sprinkled with spoilers and you should all put in your thoughts about the movie by stopping by the comment section.
