Godzilla 2 Cast & Story Details

The sequel to director Gareth Edwards’ 2014 Godzilla reboot has started shooting, and the full cast and some story details have been confirmed. The movie was previously said to be titled Godzilla: King of the Monsters, but that title isn’t mentioned in the press release, so we’re back to just Godzilla 2 for the time being.

The movie is part of what Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures’ are calling their “MonsterVerse” shared universe. It began with the ’14 Godzilla, and was continued with this year’s Kong: Skull Island. Eventually it will lead to a clash of titans in Godzilla vs. Kong, which is set to be helmed by Blair Witch and The Guest director Adam Wingard.

The Leo-Marty partnership has been a successful one. With The Wolf of Wall Street, DiCaprio teams up with the Goodfellas director for the fifth time, playing New York stock swindler Jordan Belfort.

Leonardo DiCaprio In The Wolf Of Wall Street

Earlier last month, Paramount was thinking about pushing back Martin Scorsese‘s The Wolf Of Wall Street starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill, Kyle Chandler, Matthew McConaughey, Margot Robbie, and Jon Bernthal, to 2014. While the film hasn’t budged from its original November 15 release date, it has been reported that Scorsese is still hard at work editing the film to an appropriate runtime.

Now a new report coming out confirms those editing difficulties, but the release date may not be as drastic as pushing it back all the way to 2014, which would mean that the film would still be in contention for some Oscar awards. According to sources, Scorsese, along with his longtime editing partner Thelma Schoonmaker, is hard at work cutting the film and determined to finish editing it by November 25.

‘The Wolf Of Wall Street’ Trailer: Excessive Amounts Of Leonardo DiCaprio and Kayne West Is Never Enough

The Wolf Of Wall Street Header

Paramount has just released the first trailer for Martin Scorsese‘s The Wolf Of Wall Street, which looks like it could go down as one of the best trailers of 2013. The film marks the fifth time that he and Leonardo DiCaprio have collaborated together for a project, which definitely is giving off some awards buzz.

The trailer sets the tone from the moment that green band goes down and Kanye West‘s “Black Skinhead” starts to play. Ironically enough the premise of the film and the context of West’s song are pretty much one in the same: excess. For the rich, having more is never enough, and when I say excess, I mean crumpling up $100 bills, tossing them into waste baskets like their were used tissues, driving Lamborghinis recklessly, throwing massive parties, and lots of booze and lots women.

Check out the first trailer for the film after the jump.

Netflix | Amazon | Epix

Directed by J.J. Abrams
Starring Joel Courtney, Elle Fanning, Kyle Chandler, Riley Griffiths, Ryan Lee, Ron Eldard, Noah Emmerich, Glynn Turman

Originally Released: June 9, 2011

After dealing with the tragic decision of viewing the should-have-been-an-abortion movie called Skyline, I really needed something to wash the remnants of shit out of my mouth. That film in the last streaming review was so terrible, I have been stuck in an almost catatonic state for the duration of week, rocking back and forth, weeping for my teddy bear and soiling my pants.

Cheers to the wonder that is J.J. Abrams and Steven Spielberg, for it was the epic science fiction movie Super 8, evoking a potent injection of nostalgia, which came to my rescue. From the opening sequence, I began feeling the haze of depression leave my tortured brain, in a manner that was akin to the pins-and-needles sensation of circulation returning to an appendage that was numbed.

Argo Film PosterArgo
Directed by Ben Affleck
Written by Chris Terrio
Starring Ben Affleck, Bryan Cranston, Alan Arkin, John Goodman, Kyle Chandler, Clea DuVall, Philip Baker Hall
Warner Bros. Pictures
Rated R | 120 Minutes
Release Date: October 12, 2012

So you want to come to Hollywood and and act like a big shot without actually doing anything? You’ll fit right in.

In 1979, during the Iranian Revolution, Islamic militants storm the U.S. embassy in Tehran and hold 52 Americans hostage. During the chaos, six men and women are able to flee the embassy before becoming hostages, seeking sanctuary at Canadian ambassador Ken Taylor’s home.

The Central Intelligence Agency and its retrieval specialist Tony Mendez (Ben Affleck) concoct an unorthodox plan to help the six U.S. embassy employees escape Iran. Under the guise that they’re scouting exotic locations for a futuristic, science-fiction film called Argo, the six Americans will play the part of Canadian filmmakers so they can leave the country safely.

Directed by Ben Affleck, Argo is based on the true, declassified story that took place during the Iran Hostage crisis. Chris Terrio wrote the screenplay based on the 2007 Wired article “How the CIA Used a Fake Sci-Fi Flick to Rescue Americans from Tehran” by Joshuah Bearman. CIA agent Tony Mendez’s heroic work was kept top secret until President Bill Clinton lifted the mission’s classified status in 1997.
