Everybody hustling. Including Constance Wu, Jennifer Lopez, Julia Stiles, Keke Palmer, Lili Reinhart, Lizzo, and Cardi B who all star in a new film which is called Hustlers. They star as a group of former strip club employees who decide to band together and come up with a plan to take back from the Wall Street types they often had to deal with at work.

Now STX has released the first trailer for the female ensemble film, which will see them take the power back, especially from those who don’t play by the rules. Check out the trailer below.

At San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige revealed that Brie Larson was confirmed to play the title role of Captain Marvel. At the time, the film, written by Meg LaFavue and Nicole Perlman, didn’t have a director, but there was a sense that the origins film would be a “reinvention” in order to avoid any comparisons to Green Lantern. Now it looks like Marvel is closing in on a director.

According to new reports, they have set their sights on Niki Caro (Whale Rider, MacFarland, USA), Lesli Linka Glatter (TV’s Mad Men), and Lorene Scafaria (Seeking a Friend for the End of the World). Check more on the story below.

As the massive asteroid Matilda hurtles toward Earth, Dodge (Steve Carell) finds himself alone after his not-so-faithful wife (Nancy Carell) abandons him in an apocalyptic panic. This isn’t Armageddon though, Bruce Willis and Ben Affleck aren’t going to save the day this time. Dodge and the rest of the human race have 21 days until Matilda smashes into the planet, an extinction-level event no amount of “Leaving On A Jet Plane” and animal crackers can prevent.

The Geeks Of Doom Round Up hits into episode numero five, and Andy takes a look at the trailer for Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, written and directed by Lorene Scafaria, and starring Steve Carell.
