Yes, because when the world thinks of Carl Sagan and his beloved series The Cosmos, it thinks of Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane.

Joking aside, THR is reporting that Fox along with The National Geographic Channel have signed up to team-up with the funny man on a new series entitled Cosmos: A Space-Time Odyssey.

The series will run as a 13-part documentary series, and will find MacFarlane aboard, along with Sagan’s widow, Ann Druyan, and astrophysicist Steven Soter.
