I certainly hope you took my advice last month and read the first issue of this series because Clue #2 is where the action is and I would hate to think you were not up to speed with the goings on after the death of A. Boddy. With so many suspects, though, it will be difficult for the two detectives on site to catch the villain. And now, one more person is found murdered!

I really shouldn’t have to even explain the concept here. Few people are unfamiliar with this game and hopefully they have even seen the amazing cult classic (or at least it should be) motion picture released in the eighties. Clue #1 is the very first comic adaptation of the Hasbro game of which I have a multitude of variations in my possession.

Release Date: March 16, 2016
Cover Price: $4.99

Welcome, one and all, to a story that isn’t quite as you might remember it. This version, aptly titled Ghostbusters: Deviations, is all about what would happen if one key part of the story was changed. This is essentially along the lines of an alternate reality story mashed up with the basic “what if” concept we have seen in the past.

I think the part that stands out the most is that the script changes the story about ten minutes from the end of the first film. The writer chose an important part and changed only one key action. It makes for hilarity in comic form.

Snake Eyes: Agent of Cobra #5 is stunning. That’s the good news. The bad news is, that’s pretty much all I can say about it without spoiling anything. Seriously, this is one of the hardest reviews I’ve ever had to writer. Every page of this book could be considered a spoiler. But, I’ll do my best.

There’s a reason that Mike Costa writes a lot of G.I. Joe comics. He’s really really good at it. So, if you’ve been keeping up on the title (which you REALLY should be), you know that Jinx and Billy are on the run from somebody’s who’s trying to kill them. This issue, we find out why and the answer will shock you and at the same time, it’s just flat out brilliant. PLUS….OK, this is impossible to keep up with at this point.

In G.I. Joe: Snake Eyes, Agent of Cobra #3 we get more kick butt action than you could ask for! But, there is a little something missing from this issue. Want to find out what it is? Read on.

Release Date: September 24, 2014

Whether we like it or not, all good things must come to an end. Ghostbusters #20 is the last issue of what has been a fantastic series. And, the epic conclusion of the Ghostbusters 30th anniversary story line, “Mass Hysteria”.

Erik Burnham wraps up this story, and series, in a funny, breath taking, uplifting way, as he always does. The boys are taking on both Gozer AND his brother, Tiamat. Ray is possessed, Winston’s in BIG TIME trouble, all around, it’s a typical Ghostbusters mess. And, in his usual fashion, Burnham makes it a lot of fun. As from the very beginning, the characterization is spot-on, and you can actually hear the actors from the film delivering the dialogue. There’s plenty of action, lots of humor, and it’s an all around great script.
