A new trailer has been released for Quantum Break, the latest from Max Payne and Alan Wake developer Remedy Games.

The trailer is a live-action trailer, in which the game’s primary protagonist Jack Joyce (Shawn Ashmore) and primary antagonist Paul Serene (Aidan Gillen) have a little chat, with some bonus gameplay footage included at the end as well. Quantum Break

If you’re a fan of the first couple Max Payne games and Alan Wake, chances are you’re pretty excited about developer Remedy Entertainment’s new game, titled Quantum Break.

But we live in a strange time in the land of video games, a time in which different things are being tried and tested…sometimes with disastrous results. Remedy will be doing something very different with Quantum Break, and it’s sure to worry some who were excited about the game. But unlike things like not even bothering to make a single player campaign or withholding content to try to force pre-orders, Remedy’s decision to do this, for better or for worse, makes plenty of sense.

Quantum Break

Last year at Gamescom we saw the first gameplay demo for Quantum Break, the next game from Remedy Entertainment, the creators of hit games like Max Payne, Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne, and Alan Wake.

This year the developer was back with a brand new gameplay demo, and the game continues to look like an interesting and unique third-person cover-based action shooter. Some people hate cover-based shooters, but as far as I’m concerned so long as the game’s story stays interesting and entertaining all is good. And Quantum Break certainly looks like it could be interesting and entertaining. Plus, it’s got Littlefinger in it.

Check out the new gameplay demo and trailer below.
