The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn: Part 1

Summit Entertainment has just released a bunch of new images from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn: Part 1.

So far, the images we have seen from Part 1 have mostly been of the human Bella (Kristen Stewart) and her vampire love Edward (Robert Pattison) happy together, in love, preparing for the wedding, consummating their marriage, playing chess, and skinny dipping on their honeymoon, along with one “uh-oh” moment where a certain someone has their hand over their belly. Oh, and the ever-important shredded feather pillows. There’s also been a few pics of the wedding guests, as well as a brooding Jacob, Bella’s wolf boy toy (Taylor Lautner).

Well, these new pics are more of the same (sans feathers), so check them out here below! There’s also a new synopsis for the film to read over.

Twilight: New Moon image 03Summit Entertainment has released a bunch of new images from The Twilight Saga: New Moon, the upcoming sequel to last year’s Twilight.

Check out the images here below and click to see the larger, full version; some had debuted online awhile back, but are now available in hi-res. There’s also a behind-the-scenes set pic of star Kristen Stewart, who plays Bella Swan, with director Chris Weitz.

The film, which will be released in theaters on November 20, 2009, also stars Robert Pattison as Edward Cullen; Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black; and Dakota Fanning as Jane.

For fans heading out to Comic-Con in San Diego this week, the cast of The Twilight Saga: New Moon will make an appearance at the Summit Entertainment panel on Thursday at 1:45pm in Hall H. Be warned, though: Based on last year’s Twilight presence at SDCC, it will be total mayhem, but seemingly a lot of fun for the fans (see SDCC 08: Summit Entertainment’s “˜Twilight’).

New Moon

Just can’t wait until November 20, 2009 to see all of your favorite Twilight faces back in action alongside all of the new faces set to be introduced? Entertainment Weekly has your dirty vampire desires covered in-full with a massive collection of The Twilight Saga: New Moon images, including both behind-the-scenes set photos and a couple of production stills. There’s quite a few here to take a peek at, and many more to see over at EW.

The sequel to Twilight begins with an accident at Bella’s birthday celebration, which causes Edward and his family to leave. Angry and heartbroken, she cozies up to werewolf Jacob Black and begins a wild and dangerous chapter in her life which leads Edward to believe she has killed herself. He then leaves for Italy to try and get the Volturi to kill him, which brings a race-against-time as Bella needs to find him and stop him.

Robert Pattison Confirms Fourth ‘Twilight’ Movie ‘Breaking Dawn’

Twilight

The steps are simple: obtain the rights to an ultra-popular book series; make a movie based on the book series; laugh as hordes of teenagers spend hundreds of millions of dollars seeing your movie; and of course, plan for lots more movies. Cake.

While in France at the Cannes Film Festival, Twilight star Robert Pattison confirmed that he is indeed signed on to star in a fourth movie in the series, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn. Currently, Pattison is filming the final few days on New Moon — the second film in the franchise — before taking some time off and working on other projects before returning to his Twilight world to begin filming the third film, Eclipse, in the fall.

Naturally, going by the aforementioned steps, this shouldn’t be making any jaws drop. Even if the world of Twilight never reaches its Harry Potter aspirations, they’re already popular enough to make a movie based on any and every book that exists, AND any that have yet to be written. Breaking Dawn is the fourth and final book in the series, but I fully expect more to be on their way.
