Last week on Outlander, Brianna and Roger (Sophie Skelton, Richard Rankin) reunited in the States and went to a Scottish festival very near to where Jamie and Claire (Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe) finally settled in Fraser’s Ridge. They had a falling out though when Roger proposed and Brianna was certainly not ready for that. Roger will not settle for anything less so they parted. Claire got lost, but was found when the ghost of an Indian led her back to Jamie via her shoes.

Last week on Outlander, Jocasta (Maria Doyle Kennedy) named Jamie (Sam Heughan) her heir, but Claire (Caitriona Balfe) had a problem owning slaves to the detriment of their own lives. Predictably, a white man in the wrong caused a slave to touch him and now wanted the slave to die by hanging the slave via meat hook. Claire begged Jamie, as the man of the house, to save the slave. Jamie did and Claire performed surgery on him in the house. All of the plantation owners demanded the head of the slave or threatened to burn down the house. In an impossible situation, Claire allowed the slave to die with dignity.

Drew is very busy of course being almost killed in Lithuania almost 100 times.

Enter Sebastian (my #1 boyfriend Sam Heughan), who lures Audrey outside and into a van to tell her about Drew’s secret life as a CIA agent. Everybody is looking for this trophy which needs to get to Austria to “Verne” by tomorrow. Drew shows up, there’s a shootout, and he dies.

STARZ brought to life historic details from colonial America by working with local artisans and brands to create an authentic three-sided version of Jamie and Claire Fraser’s cabin from the upcoming season of Outlander (and also as described in Diana Gabaldon’s novel, Drums of Autumn).

Clan Fraser graced the stage at Madison Square Garden for the NYCC Outlander season 4 panel. Joining stars Caitriona Balfe, Sam Heughan, Sophie Skelton, and Richard Rankin were executive producers Ronald D. Moore and Maril Davis, as well as Outlander author Diana Gabaldon. The cast and creators shared insights and answered questions with regards to the many changes and challenges that the protagonists will face this new season in a brand new land (and time period for some). Although season 4 of Outlander doesn’t come out until November, “Droughtlander” is ending for a number of lucky fans. It’s been announced that the cast of the popular Starz series will make their New York Comic-Con debut this October.

The official Outlander Twitter account tweeted that stars Caitriona Balfe (Claire Randall), Sam Heughan (Jamie Fraser), Sophie Skelton (Brianna Randall), and Richard Rankin (Roger Wakefield) will all be in attendance with “more details to come.”

The Spy Who Dumped Me

Spoofing the spy genre isn’t something that is particularly new. But that doesn’t make it any less funny. Especially when you get some great talent like Kate McKinnon and Mila Kunis. The two will be paired up in the new spy comedy The Spy Who Dumped Me – get it, it’s a riff on the James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me.

Lionsgate has dropped the first trailer for the film. In it, Audrey (Kunis) and Morgan (McKinnon) are two best friends who get wrapped up in an international conspiracy when Audrey finds out that her former boyfriend is actually a spy. Check out the trailer below.
