The GoD List Comics Pull List

Each and every week, I, “Goddamned!” Henchman 21 and “Sandman!” Empress Eve read a lot of comics. Seriously you guys, a lot of comics. Maybe too many comics. I mean, it is possible… theoretically. Naturally, we look forward to some more than others. I mean, who doesn’t? So, let’s take a look into the depths of our pull lists, grab some comics, and we’ll let YOU know what the top books to look forward to are for the week of November 11, 2015. Single issues and trades, they’re all here.

Kind of a small list this week, but what we do have is pure gold. Yes, we only have a few books this time around, but they are both well worth your money, and sometimes it’s nice to have a smaller list. Maybe it’s a good week to go back and find something you may have missed. There is one thing you shouldn’t miss though, and that’s The GoD List!

Scalped Header Image

It was revealed today that WGN America has decided to develop a TV series based on the DC/Vertigo Comics series Scalped. The comics series, created by writer Jason Aaron with art by RM Guera, revolves around the life of Dashiell Bad Horse, a cop who goes back to the reservation he grew up on so he can go undercover to bring down the corrupt leader of the tribal council Lincoln Red Crow.

Scalped will not be the first original series for WGN America, which will launch its first series, Salem, on April 20th 2014. It will also join a heavy slate of DC Comics properties in development, joining the previously announced Gotham, The Flash, Constantine, Hourman, Preacher, and iZombie.

GoD List Banner

Each and every week “Soul Eater” MK2Fac3 and “One Piece” Henchman21 read a lot of comics. Seriously you guys, a lot of comics. Maybe too many comics. I mean, it is possible… theoretically. They look forward to some more than others, I mean, who doesn’t? So, let’s take a look into the depths of their pull lists, grab some comics, and we’ll let YOU know what the top books to look forward to are for the week of August 22, 2012. Single issues and trades, they’re all here.

It’s kind of a small list this week with the end of one book and the start of another, with a collection of one of the best books of the year that you may have missed. MK2Fac3 is still away at Wrestling Fantasy Camp. He’s still working on the world’s most perfect figure four leg lock and he still hasn’t quite got it right yet. He is a slave to his craft and he needs all of his focus, so it’s just Henchman flying solo again. But you don’t need to hear about our respective tales of woe, you’re here for comics, and that’s what we’ve got. Let’s go.

RIP Victims of The Aurora, CO Shootings

Each and every week “Heel Heat!” MK2Fac3 and “Babyface Pop!” Henchman21 read a lot of comics. Seriously you guys, a lot of comics. Maybe too many comics. I mean, it is possible… theoretically. They look forward to some more than others, I mean, who doesn’t? So, let’s take a look into the depths of their pull lists, grab some comics, and we’ll let YOU know what the top books to look forward to are for the week of July 25, 2012. Single issues and trades, they’re all here.

I’ve intentionally taken about a week off from writing for the site, with good reason. The shooting in Aurora, CO, has affected me in a way that I have a very hard time expressing. The simple fact is that a completely insane and terrible person decided that he would murder a bunch of people for no reason. In my opinion, this person doesn’t have a name. He shouldn’t be given a chance to be known by anyone and his name shouldn’t be present on the lips of anyone. The majority of us who write for this site and plenty of those of us who read this site were present at midnight screenings across the country. This could have happened to any one of us, but it didn’t. It happened to a group of people who are very similar to us, and they should be remembered. They should be honored, and I’ve been trying to get an idea to honor these people, but nothing I could think of would be enough. So, if you don’t mind, I’d like to list their names so that we don’t forget. They’re the people who we should remember, and they’re the people we should be talking about, so to Jessica Ghawi, Matt McQuinn, Micayla Medek, John Larimer, Alex Sullivan, Alex Teves, Jonathan Blunk, Jesse Childress, AJ Boik, Rebecca Ann Wingo, Gordon W. Cowden, and Veronica Moser-Sullivan, we know who you are, we care about who you are, and we won’t forget you.

Now back to your regularly scheduled The GoD List….

GoD List Banner

Each and every week “The King of Trades” Henchman21 and “The King of Smarks” MK2Fac3 read a lot of comics. Seriously you guys, a lot of comics. Maybe too many comics. I mean, it is possible… theoretically. They look forward to some more than others, I mean, who doesn’t? So, let’s take a look into the depths of their pull lists, grab some comics, and we’ll let YOU know what the top books to look forward to are for the week of October 26, 2011. Single issues and trades, they’re all here.

This is The GoD List and it’s a place for you to show up and check out what it is that we (The HenchFac3 of Doom!) are most excited for this week in comics! That’s right, each and every Wednesday you can come to this website and see what we want to read. We’re taking bets now for next week, so if you want to leave a comment below on what you think we’ll be reading, you just might not win a very special prize! If you did want to bet, however, the safest thing you can do is look and see what Batman and X-Men books are coming out. Shot! Anyway, this week Hunter gets diverse, while Chris writes a love letter to Jason Aaron! Will they both survive!? Probably not! But the only way to find out is to keep your eyes scrolling down this page.
