The LEGO Batman Movie header image

Last week, the first teaser for The LEGO Batman Movie was released online to much fanfare. It was nearly impossible to contain the overwhelmingly positive reaction that the trailer has sparked. And as such, we are getting yet another teaser that will surely make you giddy. While the first one gave us a look at the Caped Crusader’s beatboxing and mic-dropping skills, along with a small tour of the LEGO Batcave, the newest one gives us a look at Wayne Manor in all its LEGO-built glory, and Alfred (voiced by Ralph Fiennes), who reminds Batman (voiced by Will Arnett) just how many times he has looked at a portrait of him and his parents in the many previous films.

Check it out below.

The Flash

The Flash is set to make its sophomore season debut later this week, but WB is gathering all the final pieces for the big screen iteration of the Scarlet Speedster before it heads into production. They’ve already nabbed The LEGO Movie directors Chris Miller and Phil Lord to write a treatment, and were considered to direct the film before the accepted the offer to direct the Young Han Solo film. But the studio is moving past that, and have settled on Seth Grahame-Smith, who is best known for writing Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. The Lego Movie Still Batman and Emmet

Released early in the year to terrific box office and overwhelmingly positive reviews, The Lego Movie was one of the funniest and most imaginative (and often subversive) animated features released by a major studio in years. Its success has spawned a Lego-based movie franchise, with Ninjago set to open in September 2016 and the recent revelation that Warner Bros. is fast-tracking a Lego Batman film based one of the first movie’s greatest assets for a release in 2017.

Lego Movie directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller will return as producers, with Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter author Seth Grahame-Smith writing the script and Lego Movie animation supervisor Chris McKay directing the feature.
