Unbelievable!!!!! Star Trek Spoof

Ready to watch one of the strangest freakin’ trailers you’re ever going to see? Archangel Films has released an official trailer for Unbelievable!!!!!, a Star Trek spoof which stars 42 Trek alums, a puppet Captain Kirk (think Thunderbirds or Team America), and Snoop Dogg.

The movie is written and directed by Steven L. Fawcette and, as you’ll see below, does not have much of a budget. But it does have a hell of a cast, and Snoop Dogg fist fighting a Captain Kirk puppet. You can read more about Unbelievable!!!!!, see the full cast lineup, and watch the trailer below.

Anthrax Game Of Thrones Catch The Throne mixtape interview

At the end of last year, we learned that metal titans Anthrax would be contributing a song to Catch the Throne: The Mixtape Vol. II, the official Game Of Thrones album featuring music inspired by the events of Season 4 of the popular HBO series. The New York thrash band had been in the studio working on their follow-up to 2011’s Worship Music, their first album with lead singer Joey Belladonna since 1990’s Persistence Of Time, when they posted studio photos to their social media accounts that were captioned #‎CatchTheThrone‬. The hashtag was an obvious Game Of Thrones reference, as that was the title of the first mixtape compilation featuring songs inspired by Seasons 1-3.

Now, Anthrax and HBO have released a quick teaser video that contains interviews with several members of the band talking about the television series, intercut with footage of them in the studio, so we get to hear a snippet of the song, which is about the Lannister family.

Check out the teaser video here below, which features guitarist Scott Ian — who just appeared as the Steel Pole Walker on last Sunday’s episode of AMC’s The Walking Dead — bassist Frank Bello, and drummer Charlie Benante.

Turbo Header

A snail that dreams of being as fast as a NASCAR race car is perhaps the most clique thing ever. Obviously it can work as some sort of inspiration/motivational story for a younger audience, and thankfully DreamWorks Animation saw the potential in that and created Turbo.

The film centers on a snail (voiced by Ryan Reynolds) who dreams of racing in the big leagues. And the trailer leads you to believe he can do it up until the end that is. Of course this being a teaser, there isn’t a whole lot to get into. Check out the first trailer and synopsis for Turbo below.

Video: Tupac’s Ghost Performs At Coachella Music Festival

Ghost Pac

Tupac died 15 years ago, but through the magic of Pepper’s Ghost, the crowd at last weekend’s Coachella music festival in California got a chance to be simultaneously thrilled and weirded out by a rapping, walking, and talking Tupac, who “took” the stage with his former running mate Snoop Dogg, aka Snoop D-O Double Gizzle.

Below is a probably NSFW [language] video of the performance, and honestly, it does sorta trick you into thinking Tupac is actually there. Snoop plays his part in the ruse, ably rapping alongside his slain friend, though I’m sure that, thanks to the marijuana, Snoop has rapped with ghosts before.

Snoop Dogg Really Likes HBO’s ‘True Blood’
space

Iconic rapper Snoop Dogg really likes vampire drama True Blood, or at the very least, one of the show’s main characters Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin).

Evidence of Snoop’s True Blood-fanboyism can overwhelmingly be found in the music video “Oh Sookie” he produced and subsequently uploaded to YouTube to promote the show for HBO.

It is everything you’d think it would be, and probably even a little bit more.

Check out the video embedded below and then share your Vampire-Hip-Hop puns in the comment section please.

The video begins with Snoop pulling up to Merlotte’s in a tricked-out Cadillac with a personalized California license plate that reads “TRU PIMP.” He comes bearing gifts like “Tru Nutz” and proceeds to rap amongst a montage of True Blood clips and shots of Sookie look-a-like dancers.
