Rogue One: A Star Wars Story officially hits theaters today (check out our review here), and depending on whether or not you have seen it, it could change the way we see Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones).

While spinoffs have a reputation of being written off as a cash grab scheme, the Star Wars universe has a wealth of material to work with. The film centers on a group of rebels who embark on the fabled mission to steal the plans to the Death Star. As storied as those troubling reshoots and issues with the script were, Rogue One is highly entertaining.

‘Rogue One’ Featurette Peers Into Creatures Of ‘Star Wars’
Practical effects are coming back in a big way, and we have Star Wars to thank for that. The drive to have real physical effects gives a film a bit more believability, and we saw a lot of that in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Now, Lucasfilm will continue that tradition in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
With the film just two weeks away from release, we are getting a new look at how they brought the creatures to life in a brand new behind-the-scenes featurette. Welcome, one and all to my very first Audiobook Spotlight! With the theatrical release of Star Wars: Rogue One just days away, I wanted to make sure you know there is an amazing audiobook that’s out and ready to bridge the prequels and the original trilogy. Written by James Luceno and read by Jonathan Davis, Star Wars: Catalyst: A Rogue One Novel is an unabridged recording of the novel, so you won’t miss a single detail from the story. The great thing about listening to a book, rather than reading one, is that you can multitask and accomplish other things like chores, workouts, or homework! I prefer to listen to them while driving, but make sure you’re not one of those really passionate readers who gets so into the story that you forget what you’re doing! Here at Geeks Of Doom, we support Safe Audiobook Consumption.
