Had trouble getting past the shopping cart point on the Mondo website when trying to purchase that Shaun of the Dead poster this morning? Well so did I. And while we are left to see the insane prices that are posted on ebay, Mondo is giving us another chance to obtain a poster from Edgar Wright‘s Cornetto Trilogy, though it won’t be from Tyler Stout or be a Shaun of the Dead poster.

MovieFone has just debuted the poster for The World’s End by Kevin Tong, which goes on sale at an undisclosed time tomorrow. Hit the jump to check out the poster.

Two weeks ago, Focus Features released an interactive version of the screenplay for the 2004 horror-comedy cult classic Shaun of the Dead, written by star Simon Pegg and director Edgar Wright, exclusively to their website to promote the upcoming U.S. release of The World’s End, the concluding chapter in their “Three Flavours Cornetto” trilogy that began with Shaun.

This week as The World’s End approaches its American theatrical debut, Focus has given the fully interactive treatment to the screenplay for the Cornetto trilogy middle chapter Hot Fuzz, the very British spoof of over-energized American action flicks of the past four decades, written by Pegg and Wright.

In just eleven days, the third entry in Edgar Wright‘s Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy (also known as Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy), The World’s End, hits theaters. In today’s edition of “The Coolest Movie Geek Item Available For Free Online,” Focus Features has released to their official website a fully interactive screenplay for Edgar Wright‘s horror-comedy classic Shaun of the Dead to promote the forthcoming American release of Wright’s latest film The World’s End – the final chapter of the “Three Flavours Cornetto” trilogy that began with Shaun and continued with 2007’s hilarious action spoof Hot Fuzz.

The screenplay is illustrated with behind-the-scenes photos, storyboards, pages from Wright and Pegg’s legendary “flip chart” used to map out the story, and videos available at the click of a mouse. Most of the images can also be enlarged to examine in greater detail.

Edgar Wright‘s Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy is coming to a close — Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz were the first two, with next month’s The World’s End finishing it up. The trilogy combines humor, dry wit, and clever spins on genres. So how do you commemorate the end of the collaboration of director Wright and actors Simon Pegg and Nick Frost? Well, you hold Cornetto Trilogy screenings, of course.

That’s right, you get to watch all three films in one day, the night before The World’s End is officially released. And even if you do not have a Regal Cinema theater near your living area, Wright assures his fans that there will be plenty of opportunities to watch this film and the other two on the big screen.
