Snowpiercer Train

A couple of years back we found out that a TV series based on Snowpiercer, the English-language debut of OKJA director Bong Joon Ho, might be on the way.

TNT has since ordered a pilot episode for the potential show, and the cast is beginning to take shape. The first actor cast was Daveed Diggs (Hamilton, Black-ish), and now Academy Award winner Jennifer Connelly has come aboard for one of her rare TV roles.

The Librarians and the Mother Goose Chase Greg Cox Cover

The Librarians and The Mother Goose Chase
The Librarians Book 2
Hardcover | Paperback | Kindle
Written by Greg Cox
Tor Books
Release Date: April 25th, 2017

Mother Goose is real. Although that should not surprise Eve Baird and her team of ragtag genius librarians, they are still able to muster some disbelief at some of the cases that the Clippings Book hands them. Three inexplicable events happen in separate areas of the world: a woman gets trapped inside a pumpkin, 3 giant rodents with no eyes attack a woman, and a man gets caught up in a fierce wind which catches him up into the sky, until he lands on a trampoline. What do these three people have in common? They appropriately lived through some real life nursery rhymes, appropriate since they are direct descendants of the real Mother Goose.

Such is the hook that ensnares us in The Librarians and The Mother Goose Chase By Greg Cox.

Tales from the Crypt Presents: Demon Knight

If anything, 2015 was a big year for M. Night Shyamalan. It was the year that he came out with The Visit film and the Wayward Pines television series, both of which were a return to form for the writer-director. And now it looks like he will help curate a new series of frights with the TNT network.

A new report confirms that Shyamalan, known for feature films with a twist like The Sixth Sense and The Village, will be partnering up with TNT for a new version of HBO’s former late-night anthology series, Tales From The Crypt.

Fans of Frank Darabont‘s TV follow-up to The Walking Dead, Mob City, will be saddened to learn that a second season is not on the way.

TNT's Mob City Image

After being credited as creator of the hit AMC series The Walking Dead and acting as showrunner for a short while, Frank Darabont was fired and moved on to a new project. This new project was set up with TNT, and was known at the time as L.A. Noir. Not L.A. Noire the video game, but based on the book L.A. Noir: The Struggle for the Soul of America’s Most Seductive City by John Buntin.

Since then the show has changed its name to Lost Angels, cast people like Walking Dead star Jon Bernthal, and changed the title again, this time to Mob City.

Now a first trailer has been released for the show, which is set to premiere on December 4th, and you can watch it below.
