Netflix has released the first trailer for Bird Box from director Susanne Bier (The Night Manager), an apocalyptic thriller starring Sandra Bullock.

In the film, the world is coming to an end. But there are no zombies. No apes. Not even a flu. But there are aliens. Just not the kind you’d expect to see. This time, these aliens manifest themselves into the onlooker’s greatest fear. And it gets to a point when the person kills themselves. So the only way to survive is to have blindfolds on so you don’t see them. All of that makes for a very interesting take on character survival. Check out the trailer below.

Fox has released the second trailer for the Freddie Mercury and Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody. The first trailer was released back in May.

Starring Rami Malek as Mercury, the film looks like it will be yet another conventional biopic covering the ups and downs of the rock legend. However, it does look like Malek is embodying the frontman. Check out the latest trailer below.

Andy Serkis is perhaps best known for his amazing motion-capture work in the Lord Of The Rings and rebooted Planet Of The Apes film series than anything else in his entire career. But now the master of creating characters like Gollum and Caesar takes a turn behind the camera for Mowgli. While the Serkis had previously done double-duty as actor and second-unit director for Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, he’s making his feature directorial debut with Mowgli, a darker adaptation of Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book. The film had which been delayed to work on the technology and presentation, as well as to get some distance from Disney’s recent live-action adaptation.

20th Century Fox has released a teaser trailer for Bohemian Rhapsody, the Queen movie starring Rami Malek (Mr. Robot, Short Term 12) as frontman Freddie Mercury.

Bryan Singer (X-Men: Apocalypse) has just been fired from directing the film, which has been in production for the past few months. According to new reports, a hostile work environment, combined with Singer’s constant absence on set and clashes with the cast, may have been the contributing factors to the director’s firing.
