Release Date For Hideo Kojima’s ‘Death Stranding’ Revealed In Nearly 9 Minute Gameplay Trailer
|
Gamers have been excited about the latest game from Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima, titled Death Stranding, for three years now. But trailers and gameplay peeks we’ve seen over those three years, while awesome and intriguing, have left us clueless as to what the hell is actually going on in the game.
Thankfully a new trailer has been released, and I can absolutely confirm that I still have not a freakin’ clue what’s going on. But damn, it is pretty awesome. In fact, if I get a chance to review the game it might just say “Damn, that was awesome” and leave it at that.
The trailer shows off more of the game, including some new gameplay action, and introduces some new cast including a second film director making an appearance. It also reveals something Kojima fans have been eagerly awaiting for a long time: a release date. You can find more info and check out the trailer below.

Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd Reprise ‘Back To The Future’ Roles In ‘LEGO Dimensions’
The impressive voice cast has been announced for the upcoming video game LEGO Dimensions in the form of a new preview video.
While the cast is huge, it’s a specific part of the cast that’s particularly exciting. Among all the names, none other than Michael J. Fox is in the game, reprising his role as Marty McFly from Back to the Future. He’s also joined by co-star Christopher Lloyd, who of course voices Emmett “Doc” Brown. If you recall a handful of years ago, Telltale made their own episodic Back to the Future game, but Fox was unable to record for the game at the time, leading to them bringing in a surprisingly accurate impressionist for the job.
You can read a rundown of who joins Fox and Lloyd on the cast, including stars of The LEGO Movie, Doctor Who, Portal, and more, and also watch the voice cast announcement video below.

Make This Happen: ‘The Last Of Us’ Star Troy Baker Wants To Be A Clicker In Movie Adaptation
|
|
When it comes to video game actors, Troy Baker is one of the best in the business. Many who haven’t visited his IMDB page might be surprised to find out just how often they’ve heard the actor’s voice while they’re playing games. In Batman: Arkham City, he plays Two Face/Harvey Dent, Robin, and Tim Drake. He was the default male voice in Saints Row: The Third and the male President of the United States in Saints Row IV. He played Kai Leng, the assassin working for the Illusive Man and Cerberus in Mass Effect 3. He played Lyndon the Scoundrel in Diablo III. In LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, Baker was Batman, Two Face, and Sinestro. He voiced Jazz, Jetfire, and Kickback in Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. In Injustice: Gods Among Us, he was Sinestro and Nightwing. The actor also recently played Delsin Rowe in Infamous: Second Son.
Then comes the big boys: Baker replaced the irreplaceable Mark Hamill as Joker for Batman: Arkham Origins, and totally nailed it. He was Booker DeWitt in BioShock Infinite. And, of course, in his most prominent role to date, Baker was the voice of Joel in Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us. He also has a couple of big upcoming games, voicing Ocelot in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (seen at the start of this video with Snake), Talion in Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, and the villain Pagan Min in Far Cry 4.
If I wasn’t being clear enough, Troy Baker is the f’n man. And any requests he has, should be fulfilled immediately. So when he says he wants to play a clicker in the planned Last of Us movie, that simply needs to happen.
