Watch Now: Clip From ‘Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ DVD With Commentary
space
Empress Eve   |  @   |

One of the most talked-about scenes in Twilight Saga: Eclipse was when Bella huddles up to Jacob for warmth in a tent while Edward sits by having to watch his love in another man’s arms. When the freezing Bella (Kristen Stewart) falls asleep, the werewolf Jacob (Taylor Lautner) and the vampire Edward (Robert Pattinson) have an unintentionally amusing heart-to-heart.

You can now watch that scene with audio commentary, which will be included in the special features on the upcoming DVD and Blu-ray release (out on December 4, 2010).

Watch the clip here below.

Stewart and Pattinson provide the joking audio commentary, so don’t expect to actually here any dialogue from the film, though most die-hard fans already knows what’s being said.

SDCC 2010: Preview Night: Comic Con Exclusive Galactus StatueTonight was Preview Night at the 2010 San Diego Comic-Con, and yes, the Geeks of Doom crew was there in full-force.

Below are a bunch of photos we took from the convention floor.

Of note was the Marvel booth, a massive area for sure, half taken up by a recreation of Odin’s Throne in Asgard from their upcoming film Thor (see the Thor movie still of Odin’s Throne HERE).

There’s also a few shots of the Legendary Pictures booth, which showed off some costumes and props from The Dark Knight and Inception, as well as The Hangover (the pic from the latter film is truly a must-see).

A show-stopper at the Con was definitely the areas set up for The Walking Dead TV show, coming soon to AMC, which had a house filled with bloodied corpses in it. Pretty cool.

Twilight: The Team Edward or Team Jacob Debate
space
Empress Eve   |  @   |
space

Last week saw the release of the third Twilight film The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, which, not surprisingly, turned up huge numbers at the box office. Yes, the fans are loyal, but there’s one thing that divides them: which side they are on, Team Edward or Team Jacob.

Recently, I was invited by Geekosystem to participate in a feature where they asked prominent geeks [their words] to chose a side — Team Edward or Team Jacob — and explain why. There was also the option to remain neutral, but I took that to mean that you were unable to decide, not that you didn’t want to decide. So, I picked a side.

Unlike some of my fellow participants [I’m talking to you, Warren Ellis], I took my assignment quite seriously, even though I wouldn’t consider myself a fan of the Twilight series (although, I’m not a ‘hater’ — I, of all people, can appreciate obsession [hello, Star Wars/Star Trek]). Since this issue is being debating worldwide and has been popping up all over the news (no, seriously, look), I thought it time that I address it.

I can’t imagine there’s anyone left on the planet that doesn’t already know the story of Twilight and what Team Edward/Jacob means, but for the five of you out there, before I delve into my argument, here’s the deal (oh, and SPOILERS) so far…

Twilight Saga: Eclipse posterLast week, the poster was revealed for Twilight Saga: Eclipse, along with a sneak peek video of the upcoming Twilight sequel [see New Poster For ‘Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ + Video Sneak Peek].

Now with the film only three months away, Summit Entertainment has released three new images from the film, which is the follow-up to last year’s Twilight Saga: New Moon.

Check out the images here below.

The first image is of the infamous human-supernatural love triangle of human Bella (Kristen Stewart) with the two guys she loves, werewolf Jacob (Taylor Lautner) and vampire Edward (Robert Pattinson) [they even appear to be in a triangle formation!]; next is Bella and Jacob having a moment together; and last is a shot of the Cullen vampire clan, minus Edward and Emmett, ready for action.

Twilight Saga: Eclipse will be in theaters on June 30, 2010.

Howard Shore To Score ‘Twilight: Eclipse’

Greetings my fair vamps, vamp lovers, and fang bangers, tis I, CrueChik, back with some Twilight Saga news.

After a little post-New Moon hibernation (really though, there was no actual hibernation, I’m never very far from all things Twilight, seeing as I watch the first film once a week…yeah, I admit it, don’t judge me), I have returned with a tasty morsel of information about the next installment in the saga, Eclipse, scheduled for release June 30, 2010.

Award-winning composer Howard Shore will be writing the score for the much anticipated continuation of vampire bait Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and his immortal hotness Edward Cullen’s (Rob Pattinson) epic love story. Shore is best known for his work on the Lord of the Rings trilogy, for which he won three Academy Awards.

By CrueChik

Hola vamps and wolfies! Quick update with some more big news out of the Twilight camp WOOOO!!!

26 days before the release of New Moon, Summit Entertainment has released the title treatment for the next installment in the series, Twilight Saga: Eclipse! It is BAD ASS MY FRIENDS BAD F’IN ASS. ‘Course that’s just my opinion, have a look for yourself here at right – click the image for the full large view.

The simple silver and red, the metallic look to the letters…amazing and I think it gives a tiny insight into the darker, more violent take in Eclipse.
