One year I was lucky enough to spend New Year’s Eve in Orlando, FL, at Disney World’s Pleasure Island, the nightclub are where there’s a NYE-style countdown and fireworks display every night. It’s an amazing place to be to bring in the new year.

Check out the video here below from spotlighting some fireworks displays at the Disney Parks throughout the last 40 years; there’s also a video of some of the highlights from last year’s New Year’s Eve celebration at Disneyland’s California Adventure Park theme park (in Anaheim, CA).

If you plan on going tonight to Disney’s California Adventure park, which will be open until 1AM, there will be a New Year’s countdown just before a special midnight showing of “World of Color”; there will also be a midnight countdown during ElecTRONica, featuring DJ Michael Paul; as well as a live band, champagne bars, and midnight countdown in Paradise Garden area. At the Disneyland park there will be dance club locations, DJs, and countdown moments throughout the park, too.
